Hey man, it's Steve. How are you?? I guess that's a pretty
sillystupid question to ask, right? It's not like you're able to respond or anything. Sorry, I feel like I'm already fucking this up haha. Robin said that writing to you might 'help me cope' after everything that's happened, apparently it's supposed to be therapeutic or something. As silly as I think this is, I do actually have some things I want to tell you.Or; A collection of letters written by Steve Harrington for Eddie Munson, post Vecna's destruction. Eddie was killed, Max is in a coma and the gates have split open Hawkins. Although Steve doesn't believe in the afterlife or ghosts and spirits, he still finds solace in writing to Eddie. And despite never getting a reply Steve's affection toward Eddie grows, making him to come to the realisation of who he has truly lost.

Steve Harrington struggles with another fairly sleepless night, dreaming of the horrors that transpired two days ago. Hawkins has fallen into ruin, Max is in a coma, Vecna may still be alive and worst of all, Eddie Munson died in the Upside Down.
But with the flicker of a light Steve finds he's not so alone in his vacant house, and that someone desperately needs his help.

“You keep saying that, Ozzy and I’m gonna start thinking you don’t want me around."

Steve hadn’t meant for Eddie Munson to stay this long.
It was supposed to be a temporary thing — a guest room, a spare toothbrush, a warm bed while Eddie figured things out. But then one night turned into seven weeks, and somehow Steve found himself rearranging his grocery list around Eddie’s weird cravings and memorizing the sound of his laugh in every room.
He wasn’t supposed to fall in love with him.
But Eddie had a way of slipping past all the defenses Steve didn’t even know he still had. And Steve… well, he was good at keeping things running. Bad at talking about his feelings. Worse at admitting he wanted more.
Just a few nights. That’s how it started.
