Summary
Merlin was made of love and magic, had enough of it to spare, but it didn’t matter. It could not be shared, could not be split, and he had been pledged to Arthur since the day he was born.
Arthur was the sun, the stars, the land of Albion and the kingdom of Camelot itself. Arthur was who they had all pledged life and loyalty to, who they all followed into battle or negotiations ready to serve or die.
Merlin had loved many, but none the way he loved Arthur. He was monotheistic, singularly devout. It was destiny, it was decision, and it was his always too big heart.
Still, he loved each person who came in and out of his life, though he knew he was taken in more ways than one.
--
An exploration of Merlin's many loves and his one faith.

Summary
Will had meant every word he said, but he hadn’t said everything. He knew there was a difference between not liking girls, and liking boys. He couldn’t just confess to a lack of desire, he had to confess to its presence, because it was present.
His feelings for Mike had shaped him. His feelings for Mike had been the catalyst to make him realize that he was different. His feelings for Mike were more than just a projection on his way to self acceptance, they were a secret, his greatest secret, his greatest shame.
It required a much smaller audience.

Summary
Albion was Arthur’s world, and Camelot his compass. He could be blindfolded and set anywhere on the island, and he’d be able to find his way back to the citadel. He couldn’t remember ever learning it, not really. It was in his blood, his heart. He was Albion’s, and it was his.
He looked down at Merlin, and tried not to think too hard about what the Druids had called him.
Emrys. Power. Albion. Magic itself.

Summary
“Truth spell,” Merlin said. “The sorcerer from earlier, the one in the woods. The dust he threw over us.”
“You should go tell the others,” Arthur said.
“I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“I’m under the spell too.”
Arthur raised an eyebrow. “And you’re in the habit of lying?”
“Yes,” Merlin said helplessly.

Summary
“We’re running out of time," Merlin said.
“You are already out of time. You always have been.”
Merlin felt the truth of it in his bones. He wanted to kill the old man for it.
“I’ll be back,” Merlin said. “You know I will. And I’ll remember, even when you don’t.”
Merlin woke in the woods, made sure Arthur was breathing, killed Morgana, and summoned Kilgharrah. He reached Avalon, bargained with the Sidhe, summoned Freya, tried everything he could think of. When it didn’t work, he killed himself, woke in the woods, and tried again.
--
Merlin cannot die. When he does, he wakes up at the beginning of the day of his death. Merlin cannot die, and he won't let Arthur die either.
