Location: Hawkins, Indiana
Year: 1986.
Finally, it was the year. The year of Eddie 'The Freak' Munson.
It was Eddie's year to escape Hawkins High.
It was Eddie's year to move into his boyfriend's home and start their life together.
The kids were all starting their freshman year with Robin, Jonathan and Nancy joining Eddie in their Senior Year. Their futures were looking up as the kids worked on finding their footing in the halls of high school while the seniors looked towards their future post school.
It was all looking up for them, everything falling into place for them to have a normal year.

Summary
Eddie wanted to break the stereotypes put on him by the town. He's a known drug dealer who's failed to graduate twice, missing walking the stage with Steve on his second time around. He decides to be someone who deserves to call Steve Harrington his and applies to work at a record store in the new mall. Unknown to him, said boyfriend works at the same mall just across the way in the worst uniform ever put on a person.
Once he finds out that Steve and Robin Buckley are working at Scoops Ahoy!, he makes it a point to visit and tease him whenever he wants. This is where he meets Steve's kids and soon learns the horror they all had been facing for the past few years.

Summary
Eddie dropped the bloodied wipe in the grocery bag beside his bed with a quiet sigh. When Steve called asking if he could come over, Eddie expected a quiet night of smoking and watching a shitty movie.
What he didn't expect was his friend, because he was friends with Steve fucking Harrington now, to show up with a bloodied face and a shaking grin. Eddie immediately bundled him inside and pulled out his first aid kit again.
After checking that Steve, somehow, didn't have a concussion, Eddie finishing patching him up and let him go to bed, leaving him with questions and no happy answers.
"Jesus H. Chirst, Stevie, what the hell did you get dragged into?"
