Summary
If Kaeya had been paying attention, he would’ve picked up on it sooner. But he hadn’t been—he preferred to forget what November meant, except for the nights getting longer and the days cooler. Remembering hurt. Birthdays had never felt like a clean new leaf, only another toll of a bell whose shadow lay long over Kaeya’s life.
Diluc, of course, did not think of it like that.

That was personal problem number two. For whatever reason, Kaeya simply couldn’t fathom what it may be, the only two tents available for them to take with them were quite small. Meaning there wouldn’t be enough space for all four of them in one. This then left the obvious and seemingly harmless solution of Lumine and Paimon sharing one, and Kaeya and Diluc sharing the other. Kaeya simply did not under any circumstances wish to share a tent with his estranged brother, not now, not ever.

But as with so many things, Kaeya’s attitude towards Mondstadt’s holidays changed after Crepus’s tragic death, after clashing swords with Diluc, after his pointed and furious abandonment. Betrayal had a way of shrouding memories in darkness, and Kaeya found dawn breaking later with each passing year.
Kaeya has struggled to enjoy Mondstadt’s holidays since the night he crossed blades with Diluc—most of all Wintruztide, its winter festival. But when when he notices a glimpse of red hair peeking out from beneath the headdress of Ursakin, the frightening beast said to have a taste for naughty children's toes, he can't help but take the opportunity to reconcile both his love of the holiday, and his relationship with the love of his life.

Summary
There had been a few times where Kaeya had been certain of his death. That night in the rain: a child left shivering and abandoned in this strange land of light and life with the weight of a world’s desperate hope on his tiny shoulders.
The night in the rain many years later, Diluc’s broadsword held above him like a guillotine, the whites of his red eyes showing all around, delirious with fury and grief.That night, maybe in the rain, when he went past even his limit on death after noon and choked on his own vomit in his dark and lonely room until he whited out.
Two were good reasons. Worthy reasons to die. The third was at least the product of something he loved.
(Kaeya always loved the things that hurt him the most)But this? Dying in this gods forsaken blizzard for the sake of some rich asshole’s asshole son?
Pathetic.

Kaeya stares until he’s forced to blink, and the spot is empty as soon as his eye refocuses—he’d assume it’d been a mirage, but the fire Diluc had left in his wake, skittering across Kaeya’s skin, is far from gone.

Summary
Heats had never felt good to Kaeya. They were nightmarish, his body and mind warring with each other until he didn’t know whether to tear his skin off or stuff his fingers inside himself. The need of it blinded him and robbed him of suspicion.
He couldn’t afford to be that weak, that trusting. He couldn’t. He knew the consequences.
Kaeya's forced off his suppressants, forced into heat, and forced to take Diluc as a partner. Things spin out of his control, and then back, but they don't go back to what they were.

So, the fortune-teller cursed him.
There was something in that dust, and either Kaveh’s passed out on the ground somewhere having the wildest fever dream, or it’s poison and he’s dead. This being a personal hell might be the better option because at least that way Kaveh can wave off Alhaitham’s sordid thoughts that he cannot fucking ignore.
After their coffee, Kaveh accidentally left that robe on the back of the kitchen chair. When he went to get it, he found that Alhaitham had already stolen it back, and though he couldn’t see the man, he certainly heard his thoughts scraping over his mind: He smells good. He always smells so good.
Kaveh gets cursed, resulting in hearing Alhaitham's thoughts--specifically about him. And oh, there's a lot to be heard.

Summary
He put his hands in front of his face. They did not look like hands. He knew this because hands usually had thumbs and less fur. And no claws. He turned it over to examine his palm and found digital pads. Thick, reddish-brown hair covered his…he had to call them paws. There was dirt in them, which made him want to wince. He didn’t think he could wince anymore. He continued his examination of himself and discovered that he was, in fact, a wolf now. Or a dog. It was hard to tell when he couldn’t see his own face.
Diluc returns to Mondstadt, gets turned into a dog (wolf?), and tries to uncover Kaeya's nefarious plan to betray Mondstadt. Unfortunately it's rather hard to do the last one when he's a dog.
His solution? Get adopted by Kaeya.

She chuckled lightly, hiding her smile behind her hand. She then dropped into a small curtsy.
‘Pleased to make your acquaintance Sir Kaeya, my name is Ingrid Ragnvindr.’
Ingrid was Diluc’s mother’s name. Kaeya’s brain stopped functioning. It refused to cooperate beyond repeating that information and making him stare at the woman, mouth slightly agape. He blurted out the first thing that came to mind.
‘B-but you’re supposed to be…’
‘Dead?’ she supplied, trying to reign in her amusement.
He nodded.

Summary
Kaeya hasn't had a full night's sleep in years.
In the wake of his fight with Diluc, Kaeya has dreams of death that leave him choked and screaming.
Years later, while their relationship is patching up, Kaeya sees his sworn brother get stabbed and it results in a particularly vicious round of nightmares. Kaeya is left exhausted and barely functioning after a week, but he endures, as he always has. The two are sent off to Dragonspine on a mission and Kaeya's exhaustion causes him to misstep a hydro mage's attack, getting soaked on top of a freezing mountain with no fire in sight.
Luckily, Diluc is there to help him. One thing leads to another and the two are forced alone in Albedo's camp, with Diluc taking care of Kaeya as he suffers from hypothermia.

Summary
Searing hands settle on his hips, warm even through the several layers of fabric between them. Kaeya gasps "Luc" into the kiss, and Diluc growls.
Fuck, Kayea thinks. That slip-up might have just cost him. Diluc is going to pull away, growl for Kaeya to get the fuck out, then dump him on his ass in the street.
But instead of any of that, Diluc just hauls him impossibly closer, jamming his tongue into Kaeya's mouth. It hits Kaeya that Diluc is kissing with experience, and it stings in a way that it shouldn't. Diluc is far, far from Kaeya's first, but he always thought that, somehow, he would be Diluc's. Diluc just never seemed overly interested in this kind of stuff.
Guess Kaeya was wrong. What else is new?

On a whim, Kaeya offers Diluc a proposal: use him however he wants. To his surprise, Diluc agrees.
