Oliver, Slade, and Shado have developed almost a throuple situation by the time Ivo and his crew show up.
Oliver chooses to save Shado over Sara just before Slade saves them all. Putting a rift between them.
Shado still get’s hurt and dies from infection of her wounds after their attempt to save Slade does not work.
Slade wakes to a world with one of his lovers dead, a powerful serum running through his system, a thirst for revenge and his last remaining lover which is his only tie to sanity.
Just to be clear this is a Slade obsessed with Oliver story but their in love so.... it's fine I guess?
Side Note: I am definitely one of those people who was more down for Arrow when he was still killing people and dubious in his morals so if it gets into show canon, HUGE divergence to be expected.

Would Harry always argue that it's potterluck that he ended up in the marauder era of Hogwarts? Most definitely and not due to his own actions. Would he also argue that he's far too old to go back to school and endure teenagers in puberty? Even more so but thanks to a far less worn down Dumbledore and his sense of whimsy Harry gets to not just experience history but be smack dab in the middle of it. At last he met a handsome stranger in a bar to get him through his misery, who keeps coming back for more. No last name, but that couldn't be a problem, could it? After all, it's just sex.
