Summary
Soobin and Taehyun break up. They both make their best friends promise to keep them away from each other. Instead, it brings Beomgyu and Yeonjun together.
(“You’re really not going to do anything about your obvious attraction to Yeonjun?”
“Nothing real. What’s the point if I can’t stand his personality?”
“You don’t even know his personality.”
“I know enough.”
“Well now you’re sounding just like him when he judged my situation based on one side. You called him insufferable.”
Beomgyu scowls, but Soobin is right again. “Then we’re both insufferable. Clearly we wouldn’t work together.”
Soobin just smiles like he knows something Beomgyu doesn’t. “I’m still giving it a month.”)

“Do you think Taehyun would ever be into a guy like me?" Beomgyu asked.
“He hooked up with a guy before, if that’s what you mean,” Kai said.
“No, not like that,” Beomgyu said, shaking his head. “Like me.”
“I don’t know. But, he’s a good guy. You know that," Kai added.
“Yeah, I know,” Beomgyu admitted, but it didn’t help.
The plan had been so, so, so fucking simple. Forget Kang Taehyun. But, he couldn’t do it.
For Beomgyu, life and love are hard as a recently out trans guy. It's been hard to trust anyone, let alone himself and his own feelings. It's basically killing him that his crush is the only person in his life who knew him before he transitioned.
Taehyun's in love with Beomgyu but Beomgyu seems to hate his guts. When Beomgyu tells him he can’t live his life because he struggles financially, Taehyun turns a joke into a reality by accepting Beomgyu’s request for monetary support through an online forum. As their friendship finally begins to warm both in real life and through the internet, it’s become very obvious that the only problem with this plan is that Beomgyu might kinda, sorta have no idea his platonic “Sugar Buddy'' is also his physics tutor.

Soobin became obsessed with making Yeonjun blush. It was like he couldn’t get enough of it. The pretty red on his cheeks, because of him. Sometimes he just wanted to touch it, holding it underneath his fingertips, the tinted crimson. Yeonjun was always pretty but he looked lovely with the blush, like something straight out of a painting.

Park Seonghwa had been a prisoner at sea for the past two years ever since he was snatched off the streets. When a battle with a rival pirate crew leads to his capture, he is merely moved from one prison to another. He doesn't realize it at first, but this new prison is different. Against everything he knows, he slowly finds himself warming up to the crew members he had sworn to hate.
Park Seonghwa promised himself he would never feel again. Emotions only got people killed.
Captain Kim Hongjoong had never felt an ounce of remorse for anyone outside of his crew. If they weren't with him, they were against him. But when they bring a prisoner on board for information, Hongjoong watches as his crew members warm up to him despite their orders not to engage. As their attachment grows, Hongjoong's hate for the prisoner swells.
Kim Hongjoong promised himself he would protect his crew. Emotions only got people killed.
