Summary
There, sitting on one of the corners, was his Hikaru, his undressed back facing Yoshiki. Then— slowly, as if every movement caused him unimaginable pain, he twisted his body until he was able to look at him with a crooked smile. Yoshiki’s breath hitched in his throat, at long last allowing a broken whimper to leave the opening of his mouth.
"Yoshiki”, Hikaru’s rough voice blossomed, uncertain. His left iris trembled to allow the escape of more iridescent tendrils, further desfiguring himself and making his half-naked figure appear much, much smaller. “You’re here.”
One month had passed and they hadn’t talked about it. Or, well, perhaps it was better to say that Hikaru kept trying to mention their fateful Valentine’s Day, and Yoshiki kept evading the subject. Before they could even begin to sew their cracks, Hikaru is taken away.
Yoshiki struggles with how to define what they are. Hikaru thinks they don’t need to. Together, they mend one another with patience, care and lacquer powdered with gold.[Can be read as a stand-alone]

“It’s the way it’s always been”, Yoshiki quietly replied, his calmness betraying the way his fingers gripped the mechanical pen.
“What about you?”, he kept going, his inherited impatience from Hikaru shining through as his body stood up and hurried towards Yoshiki. Unphased by the widened expression looking up at him, Hikaru dropped the thin papers on top of their homework, pointing at the pretty red and pink heart-shaped chocolate boxes. “Would ya’ like it? If someone gave you something like this? Do ya’ want this kinda’ romance too?”

Summary
“Want me to let you go?”
Yoshiki held his hand tightly over his beating heart, snugging their bodies closer.
“Never.”
Hikaru’s breath hitched at the response. Yoshiki felt the slight wobbling of the smaller body and hugged him steadily, encircling and covering him completely with his scent.
“Is that— a wish?”, a sniffle.
“It’s my wish to you”, Yoshiki mumbled, feeling a light burning sensation on his blemished arm, their promise locked and carried by the summer wind.Yoshiki struggles with how to define what they are, what they should be. Hikaru thinks they don't have to and, like sunflower fields persevering throughout the seasons, they blossom despite everything.

The whole situation seemed like something out of a really bad softcore porn paperback- the kind that your grandmother would have sitting innocently on her shelf with some depiction of a ripped young man on the cover making eyes with whoever was unfortunate to pick it up.

Though his memories of his life are a blur, one memory remained, and it called out to Hikaru a lot louder than hell every could. Despite the fact that Hikaru is supposed to be in hell and Yoshiki attracts demons who want to consume his soul, the two of them are bound to each other—and it does not take long for the underworld to notice.
When the world threatens to tear them apart, they might just have to go to hell and back to stay together.
