It was Grian who had looked at him when they were the only two left, and had said there had to be a winner. It was Grian who had led him back to their mountain, hand in hand, and beat him to death in the shifting sands.
Grian remembered none of it.

Summary
Patrick hates that smug fucking look on Paul Allen’s face every time he sees it. He hates that smile that screams ‘I think I’m better than you with no real evidence to back that up’, the lax posture that he always holds around Patrick despite the fact that Patrick could execute him with a few quick movements of his wrists. He could. If he wanted to, he could, and oh, god, he tried. He hates how Paul’s mouth quirks up in the corners while he talks to him, so very pleased with himself over the fact that he managed to get Patrick fucking Bateman in his home office, standing stiffly in front of his desk.
This hit me in the middle of the night and wasn't gone by the morning. Woke up two days later and this was sitting in front of me.

Taylor stoops to pick them up, but then he remembers that Jordan isn’t here to whine at him about it, so he kicks them under the table instead and throws himself down onto the couch to nap.

Purpled wakes up the next morning comfortable and cool, with a mild crick in his neck from sleeping on his back on the ground of the skull cave.
He also wakes up to someone else in the room, which quickly dissuades any feeling of satisfaction at sleeping well. He silently equips his sword, before jumping up and whirling around to face the intruder.
The intruder is Technoblade, who looks supremely unimpressed with the sword pointed at him, and appears to be knitting a scarf.
“Mornin. Got a job.” He huffs.

Every little noise Michael makes is driving him up the wall. He grits his teeth and tries not to slam the cupboard too loudly as he makes another cup of coffee. He keeps telling himself Michael hasn't done anything wrong. It doesn't do anything to quell the completely unnecessary rage bubbling just beneath his skin.

"...Kevin."

"Dreams where we do things," Neil murmurs, trying not to jumble the words together in his mortification, "that we don't really do in real life."
"What?"
Or, when a trip to the Patagonian countryside with the original Foxes highlights their relationship's unintentional chastity, Neil starts having sex dreams about Kevin. From thereon, things only get more complicated.
