We also have the Sonic cast and events taking place aswell with it taking place 10 years after both adventure games which happened in 2015 alongside Miku's debut in this story which takes place in 2025 (mainly an excuse for Sega Siblings)

Summary
For the past three years Shibuya has been under a strict quarantine where no one can get in besides the military. Since the day that everyone evacuated, Hatsune Miku has disappeared from the world with statements from Crypton Future Media and the idol group they manage. However, Miku's partner of the time, Kasane Teto, has for the most part disappeared from general media. Quitting her idol career and moving in with Gumi as she recovers.
When Shibuya eventually reopens to the general public without any long-term effects on the world, Teto moves into an apartment in the Harajuku area (Shibuya). And finally, it appears the past three years of grief are over. Just not by conventional means.
