He was already fifteen minutes late.
Eddie ran up to the front door of the restaurant, stopping just before he ran into a couple exiting. Sweaty and out of breath, he stood outside, taking a few seconds to compose himself. His old, beat-up truck had broken down three blocks away, leaving him stranded and making him later than he already would have been, due to the humid LA traffic. A great way to start off his first date in over a year.Or, Eddie's tía set's him up on a blind date. And really, what could go wrong?

It was four in the morning when Eddie knocked on Hen’s door. Well past acceptable company time but, Hen was the only person he could talk about this to. The only one who would understand and not tease him relentlessly. And with him being the subject of the conversation, it's not like he can talk to Buck about this. But he needed to talk about it, desperately.
