"My master—did you know? That Anakin—that he became—" Ahsoka chokes up, a sob lodged in the back of her throat. She looks back at him, and despite the mask he deploys, she must read something from him—be it from his face or through the Force—because her face falls. A moment passes before it twists in rage.

It's a truth Ahsoka has struggled with many times over the years after Malachor. She can deny it in so many ways, but each time she does, the words stop in her throat. She can lie about many a thing, but this is one topic she cannot lie about, even omitting it seems impossible. Each time she begins to, Ahsoka chokes up, and a weight settles on her chest.
"But I do," Ahsoka finally admits aloud. "I do."
