Summary
A year into his vengeful crusade against the Fatui, a weary Diluc Ragnvindr is captured and imprisoned in Dragonspine by the Ninth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, the Regrator. Before succumbing to torture, an unlikely ally—a mysterious Fatuus engineers his escape at a great, personal cost.
This sacrifice forcibly inducts Diluc, now indebted to his unforeseen accomplice, into a powerful northern organization that aims to maintain the balance of Teyvat. **Basically a whole prequel I made up in my head that's got OCs and is canon-adjacent to the four years during Diluc's absence from Mondstadt and Nefer's Northern Intelligence Network. NIN is a separate entity from the Northern Pyre.
