Summary

An AU focusing on a relationship between Neytiri, Tsu'tey and Jake as they each heal from grief and learn to accept themselves in order to save their people. Tsu'tey lives AU, poly relationship and lots of found family elements. Chapters 1-24 cover the events of the first movie. The Sky People return in Ch. 50, beginning the Way of Water arc.

After Neteyam gets seperated from his family, he has to find a way to get to the safe zone alone and find his family again. Lucky for him, he stumbles onto Ao'nung, who is also searching for his family in this treacherous new world.

Summary
It’s difficult being a single father, but Nick does as best he can at raising his little girl, Kim, in a house on his own. With how much he works, he’s often worried about her feeling lonely- but thankfully loneliness doesn’t seem to be much of a problem for her with how many imaginary friends she seems to have. Nick has overheard her reading stories with her teddy bear, giggling and laughing as she entertains herself with a board game, and playing pirate with the ship in a bottle. Most children probably wouldn’t be found trying to strike up a conversation with something like a vacuum, microwave, or the hangers in their closet- but Nick just figures that his daughter is on the more imaginative side. As long as she’s happy and not getting hurt, what’s the harm? In any case, he loves hearing about the antics that Kim and her imaginary friends get up to. Though those friends may not be as “imaginary” as Nick believes them to be…

Summary
After surviving his bullet wound, Neteyam is forced to confront the aftermath. Once the mighty warrior, the reliable big brother who held the weight of the world on his shoulders, he now struggles to cope with the weight of his family's worry, and his newfound PTSD. What was a warrior when they could not protect?
Surpisingly, Aonung, with all of his sharp edges, is the only person who does not smother him with sympathy. As he heals, Neteyam becomes closer to Aonung, but the tail-end of their teenage years rapidly approaches adulthood and all that comes with it. Soon, he will be forced decide if he can be brave enough to walk his own path, or if he will submit to the expecations he has always upheld.
