Derek gesto una mueca de desagrado al acercarse a paso de trote a los cadáveres de los demonios, observando la reacción de la plata quemando la carne de las criaturas, desprendiendo humo por los orificios de las cabezas. Con la punta de la bota movió los cuerpos, asegurándose de que realmente estuvieran muertos antes de inclinarse y recuperar ambas flechas, sacudiéndolas al aire quitando así los restos de sangre que se evaporizaban con la plata.

Con el rostro bañado en sudor, Adam aun con el susto en alto se llevo su mano sana al pecho pero en el momento en el que fijo la mirada en el extraño hombre que le había salvado la vida acabando con los saqueadores de caminos dio un sobresalto sintiéndose cohibido de repente, conteniendo la respiración al ver al hombre ataviado de negro alisando una flecha en su dirección.
Vaya fue la sorpresa de Adam al ver que su presunto salvador resultaba ser un Lyorjar, contemplándole con una expresión gélida y con una flecha lista para soltar.

Originally written for Flash Fic Friday, this story took on a life of it's own. More chapters to come!

When he parted the curtains, Zuko was sitting cross-legged on a cushion with a cup of jasmine tea cradled in his palm. His bare chest framed by the deep maroon of his silk robe. He was less surprised than Aang expected him to be.
Standing up and dropping the porcelain cup to the low table beside him, he said, “Aang, what are you doing? You shouldn’t be here,” it was weak, the hollowness of his conviction echoed loudly. And, it wasn’t even true. Aang had accompanied him for tea many times in his personal chambers, and at much later hours than this. It was the air between them that had changed. The two of them alone together felt fresh with impropriety.
