“I’m–“ Satoru’s eyes are wide. He thrashes again. “I’m not a–“
“You are not allowed out of this.” Kenjaku continues. “No matter how hard you struggle, you will never escape us. Cooperate, and it will be bearable. Continue to struggle, and I cannot promise you even that.” The man’s smile drops.

Summary

Reigen, now alone again, begins to spiral. He soon falls back on bad habits, but after a brutal attack by an evil spirit leaves him torn between a dream world and reality, he realises he needs help. As his dreams bleed into his waking life, he must learn to open up, or risk losing everything, including his mind.
Unfortunately, that means letting Serizawa see the side of Reigen he thought he'd done rather well to hide.

He figured that would be the end of it. He’d included his contact information in the letter, but since the man hadn’t bothered to say a single word to him while he was at his door, Reigen didn’t expect him to reach out.
He didn’t have to wait long to learn how wrong he was. Thanks to a bout of insomnia, he was still awake at two in the morning when the first email arrived.
From then on, things got out of control fast."In which Reigen and Serizawa become friends while Serizawa is still living in his room. How well can you really know each other when one of you is using a fake name and the other refuses to open his door?

Summary
The 7th Division leader Ishiguro once said to Reigen, "You've gathered some efficient pawns. If you gather enough of them, you might actually be able to oppose Claw."
And Reigen himself once proclaimed to Suzuki Touichirou that (lying through his teeth though he was) if Reigen were to join Claw, he would bring Mob as well as the other powered resisters with him into Claw's fold.
It really shouldn't surprise Reigen that one day, someone would target him for the influence he supposedly holds over Seasoning City's strongest espers.
(Mob, Tome and Serizawa would like to register their protests against this move, and politely request the safe return of their shishou/mentor/employer. Or maybe they'll take matters in their own hands - they'll just have to find Reigen themselves).

In the weeks and months following the spell, Peter's life has been... suboptimal. Nothing particularly terrible has happened (yet), but every day he goes longer and longer without meaningful personal contact, he feels like he loses a part of himself. He's really not sure how much longer he can keep this up. Meanwhile, MJ and Ned keep having weird experiences. Memories seem to flash and flutter, disappearing before they can grasp them, and it's getting increasingly annoying. It feels like they're missing something big, but with their friendship intact, senior year coming to a close, and the looming promise of MIT in the fall, they can't tell what it is. Between the mystery of Peter Parker (the coffee boy who keeps showing up at her job), the unreliability of her own memories, and the stress of her school life, MJ doesn't quite know how to feel. But she's always loved a good mystery, and Peter Parker certainly is one.
