Shoyo-kun.
The name was unfamiliar. As Atsumu glanced at the report paper in his hold, crumpled beyond recognition after all the hours he spent reading it over and over again, all the info was unrecognizable to him. The name, the day of death–June 21st, even the picture of the boy.
The boy looked painfully young. His hair resembled the color of sunset–bright, wild, and a little uneven, like someone who couldn’t sit still long enough for a proper cut. His eyes in the photo held that unmistakable sparkle only found in people who still believed the world was full of possibilities. It made Atsumu’s throat tighten.Or, Atsumu haunted by a forgotten past and pulled into a murder case in his hometown, only to realize he was trying to save the very boy he once failed to protect–across timelines.

Knowing Shoyo’s luck, it should’ve come to no surprise at all, that the first time he got out of his–their house, actually–after the ugly break up seven weeks ago, out of all things that could happen, he ended up running into Atsumu at the bar, the place where he was supposed to find someone who’d take his mind off of wanting to dial Atsumu’s number and begging him to come back. But here he was, anyway.

Summary
Over the past year, Mo Ran has been the most fervent fan of Yuheng, a character from a popular video game. He has memorized all the scenes where Yuheng appears, he listens to his voicelines before going to sleep, and has turned his bedroom into a shrine filled with merchandise from said character. It's not like him to do things by half, after all.
So when Yuheng in person moves to the apartment next door, Mo Ran knows that he has to have the man all for himself, no matter what it takes.
Meanwhile, Chu Wanning only wants to know why his young and attractive neighbor is so interested in his boring self, and how long that interest will last to prepare his heart for the disappointment.
