Phil didn’t know that though, his youngest son just pulled away from the contact, Tommy’s mind was fast, too fast, a million thoughts came to mind dripped with betrayal. Sadness? Confusion? Meanwhile, another part wanted to disappear into his imaginary museum of forgotten ideas.
He left the house with the door slamming shut, leaving the other in a now-stained kitchen.
It wasn’t fair. His brothers had left so easily, ripping their family further apart with it, and decidedly coming back in the middle of the school year wasn’t normal, at least wait for him to get out of here, out of the house, out of town, out of the country.
Ever since his brothers left for college Tommy has been alone, after throwing himself into art his life is nothing but meaningful until his brothers come back.

“I’m autistic… If you- don’t wanna be friends-” But she was cut off as Keedie engulfed her in another thight hug. Her shoulders shaking, what Bonnie realized were laughs, not sobs. “Bonnie, I’m autistic too,” She deadpanned. “I’m not gonna judge you for any of this! Have you gone mad? ”
The crying girl was too stunned to speak, a simple ‘What.’ Hanging in the air.
The second year in highschool Bonnie meets Keedie, finally someone who understands her! But Bonnie doesn't understand a lot about herself yet, after so many things her parents kept from her Bonnie wasn't even aware she was autisic most of her life, Keedie is just happy to explain.
(Or 5 times Keedie comforts Bonnie about being autistic and one time Bonnie comforts her.)
