This story actually made me go through all five stages of grief twice including one time backwards cause wtf?? But I absolutely adored it, how it hooked me up with all the pain and suffering and awful comphet as well as the kisses and the love and the confessions :3.

Once again I am met with another gut wrenching yet perfectly fitting depiction of compulsory heterosexuality (comphet for short) and as usual it is delight for the eyes.
Truly, this story tugged at my heartstrings while the end offered immense comfort.
I always enjoy reading about comphet whether as a fleeting trope or as the entire plot of a work, it both hurts impossibly hard and comforts me in the idea that to some degree “we” all went/go through it.For that I thank you greatly, author for writing this amazing piece <3

Okay so I’m gonna say this first because it really stuck with me when Bridget said “don’t throw it in your sister’s face that she, for once in her life, picked her own freedom over the crown—after I told her to do it” because she understands that Red has had to deal with her duty to the crown her whole life and respects that she needed to be free of it even for a short time. And while it doesn’t show in an obvious manner Bridget does love Red but the weight of the crown is what drives her decisions.
I also love that Bridget reminded Pink that the reason why Red has to withstand the “arranged marriage but make it look like the epitome of romance” situation is so that the former can live freely.See,I repeat myself again but the way Bridget was forced to think of the crown first in order to protect her family made it so that the way she showed love was very concealed, to the point that Red felt that the family would be better off without her and that’s a weight she probably had been carrying for a while, which obviously explain the trust issues.
Wonderful story (see what I did there (yes this is a recurring joke no I won’t stop)) I fully enjoyed my time here even if the end did make me shed a tear. Keep up the amazing work <33

This is so SPECTACULAR AND SPECIAL TO ME from the build up and tension between Elphaba and Gaylinda (I’m not letting that go like EVER) to the meddling and “wingmaning” from both of the former’s friend groups to the entire Shell Arc. I lowkey need Shell to accidentally call Glinda “mom” it would kill me but like so good 💔.
Hum the proposal after the not-so-proposal proposal like are you trying to end me I literally full on SOBBED 😭. I love how hard Larena and Idina were trying to be normal about it. I also love that Shell has that teenager “I don’t want to show emotions” energy when Glinda asks him to walk her down the aisle :333.It’s so soft yet cutting as well as heart wrenching and yet somehow mending I just adored this entire fic with my whole heart and how many emotions it made me go through.
