Summary
“I tried so hard to get rid of this damn thing,” the Corinthian says, something cold staining his voice, and suddenly Dream is focused. "So many times. And I could never… I could never." He turns the ring over in his hand, the blue stone catching the light, before sliding it back on to his finger. "I was never strong enough. I'm still not, apparently. That’s what I was thinking about."

Summary
“Greedy little thing,” Dream says, almost idly, and the nightmare tips forward, resting his head against Dream’s hip as a shudder wracks his frame. His fingers flex against the waistband of Dream’s pants, entirely of their own accord, needy, greedy, and he bites back another whine. He’s asking for too much, he knows he is, but he can’t stop the wanting that bubbles inside him, the need he feels for Dream’s regard, his touch, his…
Then Dream hums, and one hand cards through the nightmare’s hair, nails scratching lightly over his scalp. “Good,” he says, and the approval in his voice spills down the Corinthian’s spine like a caress. “Be greedy for me, little one.”

Summary
Jack flashed a grin, but didn't let himself get distracted. "Fun message I got today. It seems that someone rode his midlife crisis to work while conspicuously not wearing a helmet."
Underneath his hand, Robby stilled, his heart beating faster than normal. "What?" he asked, but that was a stall, Robby playing for time to decide on his approach. Which was cute, really, but Jack knew all his tricks.
So he just nodded, mocking. "Yeah. See the thing is, when you do shit, I hear about it."

Summary
In the workplace, particularly for those who work at a hospital, a person’s secondary gender has no place. They are supposed to act like they don’t exist, but the system isn’t perfect. Medical students of the same status often butt heads. Some asshole alphas try to act superior.
In order to prevent this, doctors wear scent blockers while on shift. It isn’t foolproof, but it’s vital to ensuring that someone’s presentation or scent doesn’t cause any issues.
Or, Michael Robinavitch and Jack Abbot realize what the other smells like and try to avoid the elephant in the room for as long as possible.

Summary
Jack isn’t the only one staring. In the aftermath of Whitaker’s offer, Robby seems momentarily shell-shocked, and Dana whispers, “Oh, my God,” softly behind her computer.
A nauseating surge of emotion rushes through Jack’s system. He feels— stupid, like he should run over there and take Robby by the shoulders and lick him in front of everyone. All he wants is for people to know Robby is his.
Looking towards Robby, feeling that panging throb of mine, mine, mine, he has to actually stop himself from hurtling the desk and biting him and marking his territory, and what the actual hell is that all about?
or: five times jack was jealous over robby, and one time he learned that he didn’t need to be.
