“Why did you leave? Why did you cut me off? I- I never cared about you being an alpha, Min. I don’t mind that it is not that common that alphas are dating, it’s not illegal anymore. I loved you and I was just waiting for both of us to finally present so I could be with you.”
Chan starts choking on his own saliva, coughing. “Alpha?”
Changbin, who is standing next to Chan, and went unnoticed by Minho until now, is patting his back to help him catch his breath. “That’s new.”
or: Minho thought he'd be an alpha, Jisung an omega. Turns out.. they got it all wrong. Minho drowns in Minsungerstandings and denial, while Jisung doesn't really know what's going on.

"You want me to live with a guy who made a microwave explode... by accident?" Jisung asked incredulously, his voice flat.
"Oh, no no no," Chan laughed way too easily. "He did it on purpose."
Jisung blinked three times.
"And how does that make it better?!"
"Ok, let's do this," Chan responded quickly. "I'll make dinner at my place this Friday! So you can come and meet each other and talk about this whole thing. Remember you don't have to say yes if you don't want to... but trust me, I know you're gonna get along so well."
Jisung sighed, feeling the weight of his limited options. What did he have to lose?
...Apart from his security deposit, his dignity, and possibly some appliances.
OR; When Jisung's plans to move in with Felix fall through, he's desperate to find a new roommate to help split the rent. Luckily, Chan thinks he knows just the right person.

You don’t know your subgender until you actually present but usually people close to you can make a fair guess. Hyunjin will be an omega. Everyone is sure of it. His sensitive and artistic personality speak for themselves. Jisung is going to be a beta. His parents, his members and the staff are all convinced. A beta. No cycle, no heat, no rut — no role in a pack or as a mate. Beta’s have a scent gland yes, but not developed enough for proper scenting and mating bites.
He turned back to his bed and then…what exactly happened just now? Jisung had been looking at the clothes and his sheets tangled up on his bed and the next thing he knew he’s…

The two boys across from him exchanged a glance. It was a glance that was choreographed and practiced, movement with meaning, something so obviously layered and familiar that Jisung felt lonelier just by seeing it. He’d always envied the people who knew each other so well that they could communicate without words.
Jisung was good with words, usually, if you let him write them down first. He imagined that that type of wordless communication was the closest thing humans had to mind-reading. He wanted to be known without needing to say it.
There was something complicated in Seungmin’s expression when he said, “Why don’t you come with us?”

“Please, marry me. Or I can… hip… I can be whatever you want me to be,” the guy says, looking up from his place at Hyunjin's feet. “And I can, like… hip… get a job and buy you things forever. Hip. A house.”
“Jesus, Jeongin. Is this really how you plan on wooing him?” His friend sighs, still trying to pull him back up by the neck of his shirt. He simply won't budge, no matter how hard he tugs. “By telling him you're unemployed?”
“And clearly desperate,” Jeongin's other friend adds, swirling the straw in his cocktail without offering any help.
Jeongin bats the hands that have been pestering him out of the way, peeling his eyes off of Hyunjin to stare at the other two men with a drunken frown. “I told you I… hip… have an interview this week.”
— this is definitely new.
Drunk Jeongin drops to his knees and begs Hyunjin to marry him. To the surprise of everybody, it works like a charm.
