This is his role alone in the prophecy. But alone means a chance to finally let loose without fear of harming those he is loyal to. He realizes something else, fate rights itself, he hadn’t fallen into the pit in the first quest but he is here now.
    Perhaps he has always been destined to fall into Tartarus.

    And his scent, while not friendly, wasn't hostile either.

    It was warm, wrapping around Izuku's body in a protective shell just screaming "I want you" which- oh no, that was not good.
