    The Men of Progress regard themselves as the brilliance of Piltover. Although, the men finally meet their match. Viktor struggles to open up about his regression. Meanwhile, Jayce struggles to not openly sob, whilst kissing him head to toe whenever little Viktor asks for a hug.

    Jayce, Viktor's boyfriend of a year, stumbles upon Viktor's regression supplies. Viktor passes out from shock. The man expects to wake up to a tireless, yet expected end of their relationship. Although, he's met with a thick manilla folder full of research, whilst Vitkor is wrapped tightly inside a blanket.

    Or, Viktor and Jayce embark upon a new, yet sweet outlet of comfort.

    Viktor had barely settled back into his work when he heard the lab door slowly creak open.

    He froze.

    The campus should be closed at this time of night, especially on Progress Day. No one except for him, Jayce, Sky, and campus security even had access to enter this lab. He knew for certain Jayce and Sky were not returning until tomorrow morning. Sky left hours ago, mentioning she would be meeting with friends from the Undercity. Meanwhile, Jayce was representing Hextech at the afterparty Viktor declined to attend at the last minute, meeting foreign investors who were visiting for Progress Day.

    Viktor whirled around, poised to face the intruder while armed with a flat-head screwdriver as his eyes scanned every corner of the lab in search of an unwelcome visitor.

    But no one was there.
