Jayce finishes his drink, flopping against the back of the couch with a huff. "I just want to get it over with, I feel like once that happens, I'll be in the clear."
Viktor isn't even sure if he can blame it on the alcohol when such a sobering sentence tumbles from his lips. "We could kiss."
Jayce whips his head towards him. "What?"
"We could kiss." He shrugs. "We both want to get it out of the way, and we trust each other. Saves us the trouble of finding out that we are bad kissers from a complete stranger—no harm done."
"No harm—" Jayce sighs. "Are you serious?"
"Yes."
Jayce and Viktor start college but are too afraid to hook up with anyone because they're virgins.

He shook his head hard, staring at the flowers in an attempt to ground himself. They really did smell good, like his mothers beautiful flowers from home. Ignoring his irritation at Keith, he gestured for the man to come over.
He held his hand out, "You mind if I borrow your knife for a sec?" He asked, "I wanna keep a few of these, they remind me of home."
Keith's calm-ish look fell, and he looked at Lance's hand distrustfully.
"Pretty please?" He asked, smiling as charmingly as he could. Keith looked like he'd been punched in the throat. He made a strangled sound, but dropped his knife right into Lance's waiting hand.
He grabbed the stem of biggest and brightest flower, already imagining how it'd look in his room. With a swing of his arm, the flower… Exploded all over his face?
"Keith, buddy?" Lance realized that Keith was suddenly silent, he turned to look at him, worried he'd choked or something on the pollen and was dead on the ground. What he saw instead was honestly worse. Keith had his eyes fixed on Lances face like he never wanted to look away.

“Mm-what,” he mumbles, muffled into his roughed shoulder pads, words smushed together.
Keith sighs instead of answering. For half a second Lance tenses. But Keith only shifts again, not pushing Lance off but moving so Lance is pressed closer to him, and then the heat of his breath tickles the shell of Lance’s ear, and he tenses for a whole different reason.
And then there is, inexplicably, the feeling of what must be Keith’s lips, pressed to the side of Lance’s skull, gentle and lingering, and Lance thinks clearly to himself: what the fresh actual and genuine fuck.
“‘M sorry,” says Keith, so quiet it would be impossible to hear were his mouth not one single inch away from Lance’s ear. He kisses again, and he almost sags into the motion, into Lance. “I shouldn’t have been so dismissive of you earlier. I was stressed. I missed you, too.”
Lance opens his mouth. He muffles a choking sound with all of his strength.
“All good in the hood,” he finally manages, and then wants to strangle himself. “We’re — tight, Keithalicious.”
