Summary
Completed: October 2021, Revised: December 2025
A posse finally catches the boys, with seemingly fatal consequences for Heyes, leaving Kid to face prison alone.
Be aware this is a 1880s prison story, and what that may entail. The title refers to the size of the cells.Includes recovery chapters.
Thanks to Kathy and Rachel K for their help and patience and for putting up with me whining!
Ch15 definitely benefited from the resident Heyes fan pointing out that it needed more Heyes. The epilogue is also definitely much better for Rachel K's and Kathy's input.
Also thanks to Royanna Huggins for the basic idea of the last chapter.
All rubbish bits remain the author's fault. Not quite linear storytelling.

My take on Danny Bilson's betrayal of Seth and our boys in the desert. The story starts from him taking the gold, and ends on the first confrontation with our heroes. Prompted by something a reader said on one of the ASJ groups.

Summary
What happens between the failed robbery and our boys going to Porterville? Here's my take on it. Heyes gets some ghostly visitors with something important to tell him. Originally posted as part of ASJ Halloween forum. Hopefully the other five writers will post their stories too. Works as a companion piece to 'A Close Encounter of the Ghostly Kind'

Summary
A spooky but not scary story. Ghosts of people very important to the Kid visit him, and make him reconsider his decision to leave Heyes at the start of their quest for amnesty. Idea prompted from the boys argument in the GGG episode. It also references a line from my story 'Ghost of a Chance' though you don't need to know that story to read and understand this one.

My slash AS&J stories. Mostly standalone but 'A Day in the Life' could be considered a sequel to 'A Step into the Unknown.' No explicit sex, except in 'Mending Broken Pieces (of the life we had before)'

A epic, post finale story, that's a roller coaster of emotions. Wonderful pay off.

When Catherine unexpectedly shows up at Adam and Kono's wedding on her Uncle Steve's arm, Grace Williams is not happy about it. In my imagination, she decides to let Catherine know just exactly how unhappy she is.
And why.

Works as an emotionally satisfying, thoroughly enjoyable FY to the producers woeful choices on this show. Grace is marvellous, and this characterisation makes it so easy to believe she is Danny's daughter. Great story.

Summary
Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams can’t stand each other. They bicker like it’s a sport, throw barbs like it’s their job, and manage to save each other’s lives in between carguments and sarcastic banter. But when Danny is seriously injured and his ex-wife is overseas, Steve steps in to help—offering his home, his time, and maybe a little more of himself than he ever meant to.
What starts as an emergency arrangement slowly turns into routines, inside jokes, quiet moments on the lanai, and a sense of family neither of them saw coming. Because somewhere between the shouting matches and school drop-offs, between late-night beers and shared silences, something begins to shift—and it’s not just the furniture in Steve’s once-empty house.

Summary
Draco Malfoy returns to Hogwarts for his eighth year with one goal: make peace with the people he hurt. He plans to apologize to everyone, except Harry Potter. Not because he doesn’t want to... but because he’s terrified to.
Harry, of course, notices. And when a new shared dormitory system forces them together, avoidance is no longer an option.

Bookmarker's Notes
Enjoyable 8th year Hogwarts story. I'm not always fond of the everyone is gay trope, as I ship both same sex and male/female pairings in this fandom. This though was very well done. I enjoyed it, and especially loved the ending, plus these lines were special too. “Finally, someone who makes him smile without apology,” she had said, elegant as ever. From that moment on, no more letters from Azkaban had reached him. Not even one. Narcissa had made sure of that.
