Summary
Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams can’t stand each other. Works as an emotionally satisfying, thoroughly enjoyable FY to the producers woeful choices on this show. Grace is marvellous, and this characterisation makes it so easy to believe she is Danny's daughter. Great story.

Another excellent AU by this author. Great characterisation of everyone. Enjoyable original characters too.World building and realistic politics, without ever being dull, and always holding my attention. Wonderful ending, that almost made me cheer.

Enjoyable 8th year Hogwarts story. I'm not always fond of the everyone is gay trope, as I ship both same sex and male/female pairings in this fandom. This though was very well done. I enjoyed it, and especially loved the ending, plus these lines were special too. “Finally, someone who makes him smile without apology,” she had said, elegant as ever. From that moment on, no more letters from Azkaban had reached him. Not even one. Narcissa had made sure of that.

Danny would do absolutely anything to make Steve stay. Anything. Even touch a dick.
Or in which there are unrequited (requited) feelings, a lot of confusion, Grace is a bad-ass, Danny has to figure himself out before he loses his chance forever, and no one is as incompetent at their jobs as canon would like us to believe.

The first few chapters are a difficult read, because Danny is being an ass. But it's his character arc in the story, and the author's skill, makes it realistic. The payoff is so worth it. I enjoyed this.

Such a wonderful emotional post finale story. The slight AU element with regards to Joanie, really works as a great set up for an emotional ride. The characterisation is excellent. I love the authors Grace and Charlie.

Or in which everyone has boxes, some that need to be thrown away, some that need to be taken out of the closet, and yet more that need to be discovered.
