There, underneath their window, is Jungkook.
Jungkook, in a leather jacket, tight white shirt and loose jeans, a look that he knows Jimin loves on him, grinning wildly up at them with a huge boombox on his shoulder and a microphone in his free hand.
And he's singing. Loudly.
Not only that, actually, he's also dancing, and there's loud music coming from the boom box, a song that Jimin suddenly recognizes as "Can't take my eyes off you" from that movie that they watched a while back where the guy serenades the girl on the school's sports field, and oh god.
What is he doing?!
Or: When Jimin is working himself to the bone on a huge deadline at work, Jungkook decides he'll show his love and support for his boyfriend in a unique way. Or actually, many unique ways.

Summary
The sun is shining on the day that Jimin finishes his enlistment. The sky is a scorching blue, not a cloud in sight. It should make him feel happy. It should be a sign that life is going to get better from this point on.
Instead, it feels oppressive. He squints into the sun and tries to remember the last time he felt truly happy. He shakes his head. He knows exactly the last time he felt that way. The problem is that it was so very long ago. And to remember that far back is just as painful as it is to face the immediate future: a long, empty stretch of uncertainty.

After BTS goes on hiatus, Jimin tries to keep what he has, but he ends up losing everything. Post-enlistment, he has to pick up the pieces of his old life, uncertain of who he is now or what he wants.
