It was a normal day at the agency, or well, as normal as it could be. Atsushi was calming Kunikida down, the Tanizaki siblings were…. Being them selves, Ranpo was eating his snacks and Dazai. Dazai was on his phone. Every thing was normal, until a nock could be heard at the door.

Summary
Dazai had seemingly been eavesdropping on their conversation, because he chimed in: “I mean, everyone wants to be a girl on some level, right?”
Everyone’s heads whipped around to look at him as the room went silent.
“That’s bullshit, Dazai,” Chuuya said, eyebrows raised. “The whole reason I transitioned was because I very much did not want to be a girl. On any level.”
Or, Dazai has a thought or two about her gender, Chuuya is oblivious until he isn't, and they try to navigate their new enemies-to-no-longer-enemies relationship.
(This is a part 2 to "and if you find it hard to be honest" but can absolutely be read as a standalone!)

“Hideous?”
“Like a victim of a bear mauling,” Chuuya corrects.
“I quite like the mauled-by-a-bear aesthetic. Besides, it’s not like I care much about my appearance anyway.”
“Sure you don’t.”
“I don’t.”
“And that’s why you avoid mirrors and only wear baggy clothes.”Dazai’s not comfortable in his own body, and that’s fine for him because that’s how it’s been for as long as he can remember. Who it’s not fine for, because he’s an annoying, goody-two-shoes, stick-your-nose-where-it-doesn’t-belong chivalric wannabe, is Chuuya.

Summary
The smooth fabric of Dazai’s dress was cool to the touch under Chuuya’s hand. Chuuya was thankful Kouyou taught him the basics of dancing, because if she hadn’t, Chuuya’s hand would be sweating more than it already was against Dazai’s. Dazai glided across the dance floor majestically, with a grin, effortlessly dancing. Better than Kouyou, he’d even say.
Eventually, they made their circle around the dance floor, and they danced their way off onto the regular part of the building.
“I didn’t see her, did you?” he asked Dazai, trying to wipe his sweaty hand off secretly.
“Hm?” Dazai hummed, fixing his bangs. “Oh, she’s not on the dance floor at all. I just wanted to dance.”
