Phil shrugged, twiddling his thumbs. “The last thing I expected was to fall in love with you, after all. Of all the deities of the world— hell, of all the women in the world— I had to fall for the one overlooking the thing I feared most.”
Kristin tilted her head with a frown. “Oh, I—”
“It’s not your fault, so don’t even think that for a second,” Phil said quickly. “I just… I don’t know. Techno and I were wandering, and we came to an art museum. Inside, there was this beautifully painted picture of you hanging on the wall. So fucking lifelike.” Phil’s face flushed. “And I fell in love. Techno, being Techno, immediately told me gods were overrated; he said, ‘loving them causes nothing but pain.’ And I thought, ‘perhaps that’s true,’ but love, after all, is unpredictable. I never expected to get this far— I never expected you to even agree to go on one date.”
or, Phil is terrified of death (having a recurring illness will do that to you) but ends up falling in love with Kristin, the Goddess of what he fears most.
or or, many mortals have tried to use Kristin to gain immortality, but Phil seems different from the other ones. as such, she agrees to go on one date with him.

Summary
As the spinner finally stopped, Dream opened the little door to its side. He spent a bit of time choosing which card to pick, but he finally settled on one. He opened the card and spoke out loud:
“TECHNOBLADE MINECRAFT!”
The whole room went silent, with the only sound coming from Phil who spit out his drink. Then, Tommy burst out laughing, clutching his stomach as he did so.
After Technoblade got over his initial shock, he exclaimed, “HEH?!” His mouth fell open. When had his name even been entered– oh.
Or literally Techno blade becoming a princess. But he has to deal with Wilbur Soot. It is not fun.

“Wait,” Wilbur said, unsure why he stopped the teen. For a moment, he scrambled for a reason. Then, he said, “Name?”
The teen narrowed his eyes. “What’s your name?”
“Wilbur Soot. And yours?”
The teen nodded. “Well, it’s Tommy, innit?”
“Your name is Tommy Innit?” Wilbur raised an eyebrow.
Tommy scoffed. “No.”
Wilbur waited for him to elaborate. When he didn’t, Wilbur put his hands in his pockets and asked, “Um, do you need a ride?”
Tommy used his thumb to point at his wings, giving Wilbur a blank stare.

Summary
Phil returned to the alleyway later that day, a loaf of bread in his hand. It was still in the wrap he’d bought it in; he didn’t want the kid to think he’d messed with it. His wings were tucked close by his back, and he arrived at the alleyway in no time at all.
This time, however, there was another kid— this one near the entrance, looking almost bored.
“Stop,” the kid said, holding one arm out toward Phil in a stop motion. His maroon eyes locked on Phil, and something protective flashed over his expression before it returned to its deadpan.

Summary
Tommy was living the worst weeks of his life. First, he found out he's a necromancer, something that is very, very illegal and will probably get him killed. Second he got caught by hunters and captured. Now he's been sold to some cult so he can raise their "Blood God" from the dead.
The only real upside to all of this is that their Blood God might be just as lost and confused as Tommy is. Oh, also, he's very much not a god, but nobody's told the cult this.
Or
A vegan necromancer and a normal dude attempt to escape a cult together.

His eyes got him into a lot of trouble, you see. Two different colors that made villagers whisper of magic and the fae.
Wilbur is tired. He's never had a spark of magic. He's never encountered a fae. He doesn't know why his eyes are like this.
He just knows that they are, and that they make him a target of scrutiny and scorn.
Humans saw him as something cursed. A horrible omen that would darken their doorsteps.
