Finalmente il professore alzò lo sguardo verso il suo... studente.
Si, era un suo studente, decisamente. Era seduto nella sedia direttamente davanti alla cattedra e lo stava osservando intensamente. Era un suo studente.
Era anche l’unico nell’aula.
Il professore diede uno sguardo alla lista.
C’erano almeno una ventina di persone, la maggior parte cancellate con segni distintivi e quasi violenti a penna rossa.
Affianco a ciascun nome, con la stessa penna rossa, una singola cruda e stilizzata parola: “MALATO”
Il professore guardò per bene ogni candidato. Alla fine della lista c’era il solo nome non contrassegnato come assente.
Ah, se c’era una singola persona allora i suoi esami sarebbero andati molto più velocemente! Il professore si rincuorò sapendo che avrebbe fatto ritorno in laboratorio prima. La velocità era chiave. Bando alle ciance.
“Allora, con cosa vorresti iniziare...” il professore riguardò il foglio, leggendo per bene il nome del suo studente “William.” -

“What’s a good line to text a guy during a blackout?”
Robert responded automatically, giving some cheesy line from the top of his head about looting that even he could tell wasn’t great - though he blamed it on his having to focus on the huge shitstorm brewing across the city thanks to the blackout.
…He didn’t particularly think Golem’s suggestion of “Boo” was that good either, but Flambae obviously had his own ideas of what guys want to hear. Given how often he bragged in comms about getting with different guys, maybe Robert’s judgement was just off.
