Or, with a little help from a mysterious artefact in a crumbling temple, Cody and Obi-Wan’s mutual pining saves the Republic.

That had been the assessment delivered by Lieutenant Piett, the Imperial officer who met the returning Purge Troopers in the landing bay, and CC-2224 had accepted the new parameters and applied them to his current situation. He had been compromised in the field, and that was why his heart rate was tachycardic, his vision was blurred, and he was currently being dragged down the hall by the armpits, his wrists cuffed behind his back so that every step wrenched against his shoulders.

“Well, how do you like it?”
He sets the cup down, and turns to Kenobi. The look on his face is vaguely hopeful, but mostly one of genuine curiosity.
Cody has no doubt in his mind that if he tells Kenobi he doesn’t like it, the other man won’t take any offense. It is, after all, just a drink.
But Cody thinks of how passionate Kenobi was when discussing the tea, how entirely happy he seemed. A true moment of joy that Cody doesn’t know if he’s ever really seen from his General.
It’s such thoughts, swirling in the back of his mind, that compel him to do something completely unnecessary and entirely stupid. They compel him to lie.
Or: Cody and Obi-Wan often share a cup of tea while they work. The fact that Cody hates tea is inconsequential.

Set during season 1 Ep 5 of clone wars. Echo and Fives relationship is starting to become something more than just friends, though neither of them expected it. These kinds of relationships are forbidden in the GAR and on Kamino. No one can know. On top of that, the fear of failing their training is weighing heavily on both of them, but its also bringing them closer together.

Cody was... mixed about his Jedi General. On the one hand Obi-Wan Kenobi was very kind to the clones, calling them by their names and treating them as equals, but on the other hand, his behaviour left a lot to be desired.
He ignored them so much that Cody had stopped thinking too much about it, not even a polite "General?" would stop him when he walked right in front of him. He was frustrated, but at least he listened carefully to the advice and opinions during the debriefings...
But it's hard to have such a contradictory General.Series

Jesse, Kix, Echo and Fives live together in an apartment on Coruscant.
Echo finds himself in a new romance with a beautiful woman named Hehna. After finding himself lacking in experience, Fives offers to help him out with advice and practice.
Unfortunately for Fives, this awakens some feelings he thought were buried deep and he doesn’t know what to do about them. He decides to put them aside and be happy that Echo has found someone.
Fives’ advice does help Echo become more confident with his new girlfriend, but something is holding him back. His thoughts keep returning to his best friend and he’s not the only one who notices.

Obi-Wan swallows hard, glancing back over his shoulder. Pull and Minut are doing a wonderful job of not staring at their commanding officers, although Obi-Wan can tell via the Force that they’re aware of the tension at the front of the escape pod. He shudders, stomach cramping, as he feels another wave of lights wink out – only two or three more, a last shot from a parting vulture droid tearing open a capsule. He swallows again, against the bile, shoulders trembling. Cody’s gloved hand comes down firmly, high on his thigh, and Obi-Wan’s commander rumbles low in his ear, “Let me help, cyare. Don’t make me watch you hurting.”
Obi-Wan experiences certain...reactions to loss, an unpleasant feature of his Stewjoni biology. As always, his valiant commander is there to help him through.
