Summary
"I mean, one way or another...the two of them may part...it may even be they will begin to dislike each other...".
A blast of wind doused those burning flames, those two brown eyes, so bright and sparkling before, now just dark. Ymir looked down, hollow as she mused "But...but this is...this is sad...".
"It is" Elise sentenced, nodding gravely. "However..." she was quick to add and in a single moment, there she was, resting her right hand on the girl's knee to get her attention again, to rekindle the flames in her eyes as she revealed to her with a smile "...in the end, the prince and the princess will come to realize their wrongs and they will come back together to face all the adventures in their journey...and then...".
She paused. Just a second, just looking at the girl. Ymir didn't know why she had paused, she didn't understand it and, only eager to know more, she asked in a thin voice "And then?".
"...and then, all shall live happily ever after".

Ymir breathed heavily, mortified as if she had just committed quite the grave sin: she was already regretting it, in fact, and would have taken back those words, a joke and nothing more, the words of a child with no real meaning, but then Eleonore surprised her, slipping one arm under her body and another behind her back.
And she lifted her up. High, as if she weighed nothing, as if Ymir were nothing more than a doll to her. “I'm a knight! Whoo-hoo!" rejoiced the peasant girl, before throwing Ymir into the air. And the girl screamed, of course, horrified, terrified beyond measure, but when she fell, she fell right into Eleonore's strong working arms. She blinked in disbelief, but Eleonore just smiled at her, tenderly. “And yer my princess, aight?”
Despite it all, her heart still pounding in her chest and ears, her knees shaking, this strange feeling in the back of her head, Ymir found herself smiling back. She felt so light in the commoner girl's arms. “I...am your princess...” she muttered, initially unconvinced, but she liked how it sounded coming from Eleonore’s mouth, so she tried it again. “And...you're my knight...yes...”

Historia immediately noticed that she wore her beautiful dark hair pulled back into a long ponytail. She also noticed numerous freckles on her face, which otherwise would have been immaculate, perfect almost.
"Um...yeah, that's right. I didn't have a key. I'm Historia, nice to meet you" she said, trying to put aside the momentary embarrassment she felt.
"Nice to meet you too. Sasha. Sasha Blouse. Let me help you with your luggage" commented the girl, Sasha, as she walked out the door, even with bare feet, to help Historia.

In short, the story of the life of a little girl who shouldn't have been born, who maybe didn't even want to be born, but born she was and maybe, just maybe, one day, she will truly learn to live and come to terms with it, with the help of her friends and her Queen.

Starts just after Caitlyn/Vi split, S2 E3. Both girls are desperately trying to find their way through the heartbreak, and the trauma of the last few months. Unhealthy coping mechanisms to one-night stands to doing everything they can just to feel anything but the hurt. A journey of heartbreak and hurt and eventual healing... EVENTUALLY. Slow burn, my version of everything in between episodes and meetings. A few of my own canon divergent twists just for fun but ultimately follows the main plot line.

Summary
It has been a few days since Kronika was defeated by the hands of Erron Black, with some aid from the Fire God Liu Kang and Commander Cassie Cage. After winning the hourglass, Erron would sink the thing into the sea of blood so that no one could mess with it ever again. Though he only did that after Liu Kang and Cassie Cage changed somethings, bringing back some people and raise the Elder Gods back up to their thrones of power. Cassie would also say some words that would change the fate of one person that she believes deserves a happy ending, though not fully knowing that she had done so in the process. Unknown to both of them, their medaling in time have had unforeseen consequences to the realms at large and cause Kombat to begin once more.
