Summary
Dean Winchester was going to die.
When he didn't present at sixteen as expected, Dean was illegally recorded as an Alpha. He has known for a long time that he wasn't one, but to stay and protect his young brothers, Dean accepted the lie and hid his true nature until it couldn't be hidden anymore and his first heat came.
None of it mattered after Dean was framed and sent to prison.
An Alpha prison.
Shot full of suppressants that would give him at most a month until his true nature was revealed, Dean was thrown into a dangerous world where if even one Alpha discovered the truth, Dean's life would be forfeit.
Fate has a funny way of working though, in even the filthiest, most dangerous of places.

Summary
It took eight days after the incident of the phone call for Dean to realize he had been fooling himself. Hope was such a double edged blade. Like an overripe peach covered in sweetness but if you bit into it the taste was sour and bitter.
It slid down his throat, coating it in shame as Dean just kept moving through life.
Four hundred and two days.
Maybe Dean could go home? Go back, knock on their apartment door and ask to come back inside. Would Cas even want him anymore? Christ, he had followed Dean for four years by his estimate before they ever even met. And then they had been friends for a year before they dated.
Nine years.
It had been nineish years since Cas had seen him for the first time.

Summary
Alpha scents blended in with some duller Beta ones and the sweetness in the air made him think that there must be omegas here too. They made his head swim and he heard the sounds of shuffling steps and snuffling as people must have started scenting the air around them. He couldn’t quite grasp how people were trying to take more of the scents around them in. God, how were they even getting anything distinct around the overwhelming, thick, cloying-
A scent hit him then, breaking through the crowd. It made Castiel blink as he stiffened. Before he even realized he was doing so, Castiel found himself scenting the air cautiously. Something fruity, like strawberries mixed with a sweetness that made Castiel’s mouth water, and he was forced to swallow an alpha growl.

Summary
Sure, him and Cas aren’t anything, not really, not in any way that mattered. Cas didn’t belong to him. They have only known each other in the darkened nights that they held secret between them, only knew each other in the way their hands have spent three years mapping each other’s skin.
But that's all they did. They didn’t talk, they didn’t belong to each other. Just a convenient fuck when no one else was available.

Dean and Castiel have had a situationship for three years. The situation being they call each other whenever they have an itch to scratch and no one else around. For Dean, it has been more for a long time.
He has been in love with Castiel almost the whole time, never believing that he could ever truly be good enough for Cas.
It might take the wedding of their brothers to finally bring the truth of Dean's feelings to the front.
Maybe he will be able to get his happily ever after with Castiel after all.

“Dean, where do you think you’re going?”
The voice from behind him seemed to come from his darkest nightmares. Gods, it still sounded the same. Low, nasally, and his name full of want.
Dean was used to being wanted in a way, used to his looks and his power being enough to make people look at him and desire if they knew.
It wasn’t want for him though. He wasn’t sure anyone had ever wanted Dean just for Dean before.Or.
Dean has always hated the curse of his last name.
As one of the few Familiars born with the level of power Dean has, he has been on the run for years from the one who wishes to force him into a bond that he has no interest in. When he is forced once again to escape before that fate is forced on him, a pull that he can't explain lands him right on the doorstep of the first person Dean has ever met who seems to want him for who he is, not what he can give them.
However one who hunts Dean will not be easily stopped, and it will threaten everything Dean is trying to build.

Summary
Castiel follows the way Dean gestured to, towards the small office, still moving as if in a daze, still finding it strangely difficult to look anywhere else. Only once he is in the safety of the office, with a coffee mug in his hand, does Castiel let his restraint slip. His scent envelopes the entire room, his shoulder shaking as he closes his eyes to just think about what even happened.
His eyes, unbidden, finds himself watching the omega outside through the foggy glass. His scent immediately calming down, his chest wanting to purr.
“Damn it,” Castiel whispers to himself, wondering just exactly what he has gotten himself into.
Or: alpha castiel's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere and he is in need of a mechanic. it leads him to a small town and an omega mechanic dean winchester. what starts as an inconvenience, might turn into something much more than any of them ever expected.

Summary
Castiel Novak never expected to be working as a correctional officer at Leavenworth Penitentiary. He especially didn’t imagine an inmate like Dean Winchester, the most beautiful man he’d ever seen in real life.
It should have been unsurprising, the way Dean got under Castiel’s skin.
A prison, Dean x Cas romance, set in the 80s.
Note the E rating doesn’t come into play until Dean is no longer an inmate.

Imagines/fills in the gaps of the 12 year relationship between Dean Winchester and Castiel that led to the "Despair" confession scene and envisions that the confession scene was really just the culmination of a physical relationship/"profound bond" that turned into something else (for both of them). Canon-compliant, just "in between" that canon.
