Summary
After discovering a silver baby hedgehog in the apocalypse, Shadow has to face a challenge beyond anything he's ever faced before. Parenthood. Silver, meanwhile, has the unique experience of growing up in a hellish excuse of a city, and has to learn how not to lose his mind with how unhinged his dad is.

Okay, okay this is not very normal. It's mcyt but a Coraline au. It's Tommy and Wilbur centric.
This is different than other things I've written. It's a lot darker, because ✨Halloween✨ and also Coraline is very dark. It does still have a happy ending! I believe in happy endings!

There's gore. Not really blood but bodily horror, (kinda like Little Nightmares but toned down way a lot. Like a lot.)
Generally dark themes, (It do talk about death, and stuff like that.
NO major character death tho.)Basically everything that was in Coraline.

Btw, you should read the book of Coraline if you liked the movie. I read it and it's very good, though heads up, much creepier. I'm going to reference the book often.

As for the movie, you'll need to either know it really well, or have watched it recently. This fic is hard to understand without it.

Tommy's fallen into the trap of caring for someone who probably only thinks of him as livestock, but he can't seem to let go. After all, he's never met anyone else who was so good at pretending to like him.
Wilbur just wants to be friends with the small, possibly homeless human child who cuddles with him every Sunday and won't accept money for anything but his blood. As he bitterly puts it, he 'doesn't want any pity.' Wilbur can't help but feel attached.
