Summary
Percy is just trying to live the most peaceful life he can. He got into New Rome University, met a few of his godly siblings along the way, and is about to finish his freshman year of college when he meets a new godly sister of his, one who was once a demigod. Percy learns to find his footing with these new godly visits, and quickly realizes his newfound undersea family is more determined to make him a part of Atlantis than he originally thought.
In the meantime, something far from Atlantis is stirring, and Percy has this strange feeling he'll end up having to face it...

Jim didn’t look at him. He stayed staring at the ceiling. Len knew that he heard him, knew he was there, his breathing faltered ever so slightly when he called his name. He swallowed heavily as McCoy moved closer, taking a deep breath and saying,
“Bones… when can I get out of here?” Lucid, then. Coherent, alert, aware, but still so damn scared, if the slight shaking in his good hand was any indication. To hell with protocol. Len began removing the ankle restraints.
“Soon, kid, real soon. Soon as that machine finishes its job, we’ll go, ok?” Jim nodded, nostrils flaring with each breath. In. Out. “I uh- I hear you put up a hell of a fight. Mind telling me what that’s all about?” He moved to the strap on Jim’s right wrist.
Jim snorted a breathy, cynical laugh. “I don’t like doctors.”

“I just don’t understand why the Greeks treat him as such a big deal,” Marcel said “Or even the gods. Lady Juno and Lord Mars clearly backed him, and I don’t understand why. He certainly doesn’t look like much.”
“Why don’t you just ask around?” she asked him. “Heroes have stories and people are always eager to tell them. I’m sure any of the Greeks could tell you more about him.”
“It’s not a bad idea,” Jordan added. “It would be nice knowing exactly why he was part of the prophesied Seven. I know the Venus girl had sorcery and the Vulcan boy obviously had power over fire. But why Jackson? Just because they took a boat?”
Despite raising him on a shield, Romans don't know much about Percy Jackson, or even the Greeks in general. As the Legion attempts to recover from the wars, they find out there is far more to the Son of Neptune then they originally thought, and learn quite a few things about themselves along the way.

Paul didn’t want to use the word intimidating to describe Percy, per say, but Paul had spent a lot of his relationship with Sally being intimated by Percy for a number of reasons. One, within his first conversation with Sally, Paul knew exactly where any romantic partner would fall on Sally’s list of loved ones and that was squarely below her son. Absolutely fair enough, but that did mean Paul spent those early days before meeting the kid knowing that one wrong move, one bad vibe with this kid, and he had the power to end the whole relationship. Paul is reading through the newest draft of Sally's book when Percy comes up to him and asks if he can take Estelle down to the water. He raises an eyebrow at him. “You don't really need my permission for that, Percy. I'm not exactly concerned about either of you drowning.”
Percy rolls his eyes good-naturedly. “Come on, I just need somebody to hold her. I'd wait for Annabeth to do it, but she and mom always take forever getting groceries.”
“Oh, is big brother showing off his Son of the Sea God skills?” Paul teases. “Going to have your hands full, huh?”
Surprisingly, Percy looks horrified to the point of being ill. “Of course not,” he says earnestly, and for some reason he sounds like he's apologizing. “I'd never do anything like that around her. I promise.”
Paul frowns and closes his laptop. “If that's the case, why do you need somebody to hold her?”
“Well, obviously I can't hold her.”
Paul's blood turns to ice.

When Jonah gets in trouble at school, Carlos is called to meet the principal, who seems more flustered by him than he is about picking up his kid from the principal's office.

“Well, before we continue, I just have to ask…” She tilts her head, trying for effortless and playful. “Is there a Mrs. Strand Reyes?”
Carlos straightens in his chair, brow furrowing again, clearly confused by the direction in which this conversation is going.
“…No?”
Principal Hargrove lets out a little laugh.
“That’s too bad,” she says, voice slipping into what she thinks is a flirty tone. “I’m, um… I’m single too. Nobody’s ever had the cajones to try.” She actually sings the last part, dropping her voice into a low baritone and wiggling her eyebrows while pointing at her bare ring finger.
Carlos blinks.
Then he calmly lifts his left hand from Jonah’s shoulder, revealing the shiny gold band on his own ring finger.
“There is a Mr. Strand Reyes,” he says matter-of-factly.
Principal Hargrove’s eyes go saucer-wide. She actually hears the hollow thunk of the Windows crash error sound as her brain freezes. The system needs a reboot.
“Oh.”
