Summary

Summary
Shinsou's life hasn't been easy. He wasn't good enough to get into any hero-training schools, civilian colleges seemed to conveniently find a reason he couldn't enroll after a glance, and finding honest work was nigh-impossible. Maybe he got his propensity for criminal dealings from his dumpster fire of a father or maybe everyone was right and he was just born that way.
Either way, a guy needs to eat.
After going into heat, one of his usual contacts hits him up for a quick job, but he misses the signs of something darker lurking beneath the surface.
His biggest mistakes always started with getting out of bed.
Alternatively: a low-level omegan villain gets lured into a trap by a Pro Hero alpha who may not be quite as insidious as initially believed. Everything toxic is just medicine in small enough doses.

Summary
Standing there, looking at them both up close for the first time in over ten years, Hitoshi suddenly remembered being a kid, way back before he knew the truth. Remembered attending the Aquarium with his class on a field trip, a mere six years after their initial reveal, and being lucky enough to see them both that day. Remembered the frilly reef Mer winking at him and thinking about how human that seemed while the other sulked in the background.
Hitoshi wished, some days, that it would have ended there. Wished he would've moved far, far away before he could ever learn the dark, underlying reality of why two such creatures hung out in willing captivity.
[Or: Hitoshi is tired of shoveling shit for a weak tea version of the Mob because of a vocal ability that he doesn't fully understand. He decides to take on a suicide mission that he never intended to complete only to discover that, maybe the actual mob isn't so bad, and it's totally possible he never fit in because he was looking in all the wrong places.

Summary
Everyday on the way home from school, Hitoshi passed by a record store.
At first, it was because it was on the way to the train station, when he’d take the train to the town his foster home was in. It was the fastest way to get from UA to the station, so Hitoshi passed it every day on the way there and back.
When he was adopted by Aizawa and Yamada, though, Hitoshi didn’t change his path, even though it meant that he was now going out of his way to pass by the store.
(When Hitoshi had moved in, he’d been afraid that he wouldn’t be able to bond with Yamada at all. The thought of it had terrified him—Hitoshi had always wanted parents and now he had two of them, but one of them was a near-stranger who Hitoshi barely knew and who, to put it simply, wasn’t really the type of person Hitoshi would usually hang around. He'd been completely wrong.)
