Mike lets out a hollow laugh, "Maybe you're right."
They sit in silence for a moment, their hands still joined.

"Hmm?" Mike hums, looking at Will.
"What you saw... do you think... was it Venca? Do you think he's coming for you like he did with Max?" Will looks Mike in the eyes, then looks down at their hands. "

Summary
Eddie Munson was supposed to meet his end after he finally refused to run so Max would live and Vecna could be destroyed once and for all. But then he woke up, and Eddie couldn't help but feel like he hadn't woken up in the afterlife. He should be dead. He was supposed to be dead. Eddie is dead, right?
