Summary
Hwang In-ho lets out a shout as the bullet slices through his skin. His left shoulder burns as his right reaches up to clutch it. His knees cracking with a loud thump as he falls to the ground. Hunched over as his breath roars out of him in pants. Every sound around him is muffled as his head throbs from the impact. Heart racing as red-hot pain seers through him. He’s been hurt before, surviving Squid Game requires ounces of blood sacrifice, including your own. But even the years of heart-numbing that comes from being the Frontman couldn't make him immune to the pain of being shot, even if it is just a slice through the muscle from a stray bullet.

It wasn't supposed to end this way. Gi-hun had thought that by pushing you away, he might spare you the pain and misery that an association with him will always bring. He hadn't known you might actually die at the hands of the Frontman.
In-ho had thought that bringing Gi-hun into the Games and forcing you to comply would end with his victory. But now that he has you right where he wants you, In-ho finds that things aren't quite as simple as he once thought.

Summary
Overcome with guilt, anger, thoughts of revenge, and haunted by the past after S1, Gi-hun attempts to find the elusive Recruiter and take down the Games.
By chance, he stumbles across a fellow Winner who seems to know more about the Games than anyone. Together, they team up to expand their hunt, using their shared knowledge of the Games and equal desire for revenge to stop the system for good.
Everything changes however when they manage to re-enter the Games, and they realize that taking them down might be more difficult than they first believed...

Summary
The Front Man prides himself on the consensual nature of his games. Manipulated or not, every participant who enters his playground has voluntarily offered themselves up to the experience. He truly believes that the games provide a space where all participants can be equal. At least for six days.
When a VIP requests that Hana, a girl not considered to be in a desperate need of money, be entered into the games by force, the Front Man cannot refuse... but is quietly enraged by her very presence. She should not be there, ruining his delusions of fairness and consent, especially not whilst returning player 456 seeks to incite an insurrection. Will Hana's involuntary participation force him to look upon the experience in a new light, or will he dispose of her just like he would any other threat to the continuation of the games?
