Summary
The VIPs wanted to turn Seong Gi-Hun into their newest amusement. Hwang In-Ho acted first, claiming Player 456 as his own—before the world, and for himself.
Away from the bets and bloodshed, In-Ho offers Gi-Hun a different fate: freedom from the Games, in exchange for becoming his prisoner. Gi-Hun accepts—but not without setting his own terms.
Behind locked doors, possession blurs into something neither of them expected. But in a world built on power and sacrifice, emotions come with a cost—and both men must decide how much they’re willing to risk for what they can no longer deny.

Most people forget since the marks usually develop long before they reach puberty but Gi-hun's didn't come in until his eleventh birthday.
"What does it mean?" He asked in the small voice of an eleven year old.
"It's a name Gi-hun, it doesn't mean anything. Finish your food."
"It's a soulmate mark though right? Does it mean that In-ho is my soulmate?"

Summary
Set mid-S2.
Surviving the previous night, through what was the first riot of the season, had been a challenge that many lost, and rendered the rest mortified (most of them, anyway).
And although, as the frontman, he had witnessed countless of these before, this one in particular happened to be the exception that genuinely perturbed him. All he knew, was that he had to ensure Gi-hun made it through the night alive, and unharmed.
More so, given how the blood-thirsty, hungry-for-victory players, would definitely be looking to eliminate the competition. And the two of them - In-ho, and Gi-hun, that is - had proven in the past few days, that they were the top contenders. So, he had to resort to not-so-subtly compelling Gi-hun to accompany him to the men's facilities, just minutes before lights out.
And when the ruckus finally commenced in the dormitory, only then did he admit his motive regarding their current state of circumstances - i.e., to take refuge inside the bathroom throughout the night, safe from the hooligans who were out for their blood.
And despite of the scuffle that ensued between an enraged Gi-hun, and himself - In-ho just couldn't let him leave.

Summary
The Frontman isn't surprised by Gi-hun's trauma. He knows firsthand what that island can do, how it breaks someone's spirit. He can only imagine how much worse it feels being back a second time. Nevertheless, the erratic, skittish behavior that Gi-hun starts to display during the games intrigues him. Worries him, even.
It doesn't take him long to realize that Gi-hun has not one, but two familiar faces among the other players. An old friend, but also an ex, abusive boyfriend.
As Young-il allows In-ho to experience the games and be close to the object of his fascination, he gets to watch Gi-hun unravel before his eyes, initiating a new, exciting, and equally lethal game between the Frontman and the player who wants to destroy him. -

Summary
Gi-hun’s life is a mystery to him. Awakening from a coma with barely a memory intact, he’s spent the last several months trying to rebuild his life while trying to cope with the trauma lingering behind his amnesia – fortunately, he isn’t alone in any of this. On the surface, In-ho has been nothing but the perfect spouse, so dedicated and devoted to Gi-hun’s well being. He’s a bit on the strict and overprotective side, sure, but he means well.
He does.
At least, Gi-hun thinks he does.

“Park Sun-woo, Park Eun-ji, Park Yoon-ho,” his electronic voice fills the room and the gaze of his mask falls onto Ga-yeong like a stone, “and Seong Ga-yeong,” he moves toward her uncle, who is still softly pleading, “you are all unfortunately here because this man, Park Ha-joon, has stolen from his place of work.”
Ga-yeong and her family have been taken because her uncle has stolen money from some very important clients. Unfortunately, Ga-yeong is also there as a bargaining chip for a certain player the frontman has been keeping an eye on....

Summary
“Do you want to kill me?” He asks, a little breathless. He reaches out his hand to touch the knife, his finger sliding along the edge. A drop of blood slides down his palm. “It’s ok Gi-hun. You can.”
Gi-hun’s face is carefully blank. In-ho finds himself wondering when he learned how to do that. He hopes Gi-hun copied it from him.
“Don’t move.” Gi-hun says. And then he takes the knife and slices it clean through In-ho’s shirt.
Gi-hun kills the baby. This changes things.

Then that's when he saw it. Subtle, barely noticeable, but unmistakably there. Gi-hun had twitched. He stopped, turning back around and kneeling down to his level. He gently removed his glove, then slowly placed two fingers on the pulse point of his neck.
Yes.

Summary
For the short time Gi-hun was here, in his office, they were both safe. No one could hurt them here. No one outside would ever know what happened behind its closed doors. They would not get this opportunity again, and In-ho needed to make it count, even if Gi-hun didn’t see the futile significance of it. It was just the two of them together on the only habitable island in an ocean of mystery where they could forget the hell unleashed on the other side of that wretched entrance to the underworld that would dare to separate Gi-hun from him and send him back to be tortured by all those angry ghosts of theirs waiting for the both of them.
Here they weren’t Frontman and Player 456.
They weren’t mortal enemies. No one had responsibilities and no one was playing a game.
Hell, they weren’t even friends.
They were simply Seong Gi-hun and Hwang In-ho.
