Summary
Tommy is a problem child. It’s what he has been told all of his life. He was so problematic that his parents gave him up for adoption. He bounced from foster house to foster house, never an end in sight. That’s until his social worker, Kristin, offers to foster Tommy. He is greeted by a swordsman, a pizza lover, and a singer. The three accept him with open arms. His world turns upside down. He was a problem, but now he feels like he is a part of the family. He knew all of that was too good to be true. His past catches up to him. He doesn’t want to destroy the family he just gained, but a small pink envelope seals his fate. The letter inside reminds him of what he is and always will be. A problem child.

Eddie manages to resuscitate him, but as Buck recovers from yet another trauma, Eddie can’t help but notice there’s something very different about him. He’s not quite sure what version of Buck he got back.

Siren snorted. “No. I’m just here to order some food.”
“Wh-What about him?” The cashier asked, glancing at Tommy. “Did you- did you kidnap him?”
“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
