Buck looks this (incredibly good-looking) stranger up and down and makes a potentially stupid decision, but well as he’s been told before ‘Buck’s gotta Buck’, besides worse case this guy runs off in disgust or embarrassment, absolute worst case, Buck gets punched - either way Buck takes the toy home for Hen or best case scenario…
“I haven’t actually purchased it yet so I can help you out, for a price,” Buck fixes a cocky look on his face.
“A price? Are you seriously trying to swindle cash out of me?” the guy glares at Buck.
“Not cash,” Buck continues, “A date.”Buck has left his Christmas shopping to the last minute, oblivious to the craziness levels that get higher in retail the closer it is to Christmas. He's been asked to see if he can find a Lazer Fightbot 3000 - the latest popular toy - as a favour. Somehow he manages to track one down, but this handsome stranger is also looking for one, to make his kid's first Christmas in LA 'the best Christmas ever'. Maybe they can negotiate some kind of deal?

Bobby opens the door and his jaw hits the floor as he comes face to face with Evan. Evan, his son, who was supposed to be safely tucked away in Hershey with his lovely sister and parents, the Buckleys. Evan, who looks like he hasn’t slept in days and is bearing the weight of the world on his small shoulders.
“So you know who I am,” the kid starts, his words drenched in bitterness. It breaks Bobby’s heart. This is his son. His son, who is glaring at him like he is the scum of the earth.
“Evan –” he starts, but the kid cuts him off.
“Look, I know you gave me up and didn’t want me, but you are my father. I hope you are not too much of an asshole to turn me away now. Please, may I come in? I will be out of your hair soon, I promise.”
Something in Bobby breaks at those words.
