Itadori Yuji is Ray's second chance in life, and he was as cursed as before with a promise. His luck with mother is still nonexistent and he still remember too many thing from birth. Being born in baby factory was hard, but it beat being experimented on since he was in the womb and remember it. At least this cursed world wasn't being ruled by man eating demon like his old one.
You might think Yuji would stay away from lovebirds childhood friend this time, but what could he say? He is a sucker for a familiar dynamic, so he let himself be a willing third wheel to Okkotsu Yuta and Orimoto Rika. Unfortunately both of them were not normal, Yuta is a walking lump of cursed energy and Rika... is probably a psychopath.

----Desmond just watched at first.
It had taken days to realise where he was, or rather, when he was. Desmond was half convinced he was in a coma or a long-lasting Bleeding episode at first. But it was not the Bleeding Effect, nor did Desmond seem to be in another coma.
He was not in the Animus, but in real world Renaissance Florence.
By the time Desmond finally seemed to snap out of his daze, he stumbled upon the Piazza della Signoria where a large crowd was gathered.
He recognised this scene, though the last time he saw it, he had arrived on the opposite side of the piazza. The last time he had been watching through the eyes of Ezio.
Watching the crowd move, Desmond found himself stopping a nearby woman, “Scusi, signora, but would you happen to know today's date?”
“December 29th.”
Desmond’s eyes were wide in disbelief. “And the year?”
“1476.”
December 29th, 1476.
The day the Auditore family was executed.
—-Or Desmond proves to be increasingly impulsive and Isu Tech seems to hold a grudge against him.

Meanwhile, Thor flew two feet in front of him at the speed of sound as a giant robot flung him away from the fight happening literally right in front of the bench.
