Crowley loves to swim. If asked, he probably wouldn’t be able to say exactly why; he’s just always felt more at home in water than on dry land. Mostly, he thinks, it’s the monotony, the back and forth, back and forth, surging ever forwards between two walls, steady and unending, the unrelenting rhythm soothing the race of spiralling thoughts that plague his every waking moment. That’s probably it. It has absolutely nothing to do with the new hot lifeguard who volunteers on a Friday afternoon. Nope, definitely not.
Crowley has a crush on the new lifeguard at his pool and does everything he can to catch his attention.

When Aziraphale buys a special advent calendar from a young woman at his local Christmas market, she tells him to make a wish - something he wants to come true before Christmas. Having been feeling very lonely lately, Aziraphale wishes for someone special to share the forthcoming festivities with. Coincidentally, come December, Aziraphale starts bumping into the same man every day and quickly finds himself becoming rather enamoured with him. Or perhaps it isn't coincidence at all...

Summary
There wasn’t much for a demon to do in an empty cottage in Tadfield. After some exploration, Crowley concluded that he was tied to the house. He also concluded that any of his miscreant doings in said house were going completely unnoticed. After only two months, Crowley was ready to pull his metaphysical hair out.
And then came the angel.
He wasn’t a real angel, of course. A real angel would have stepped into the cottage, immediately sensed the presence of a demon, and gone straight to taking advantage of his unfortunate situation. The stout man in tartan was not, technically, ethereal, but something about his soft cheeks and light blond curls gave him the air of being everything heaven was supposed to be.
