Summary
“You ready?” Adora asks, and Catra nods. Though neither of them are truly ready. They walk from the parking garage to the airport, hand in hand the whole way. They got Catra’s boarding pass, got her bag checked, and finally made their way over to the security checkpoint. She could go no further than this. This is where they had to part.
“Adora, I have to go now,” Catra told her after Adora had kissed her and hugged her multiple times.
“I know,” Adora said, her voice wavering and still holding on to Catra, “I’m just gonna miss you. It hurts so much when you’re gone.”
“It’ll be alright, Adora. December, remember?”
“Yeah. It’ll be alright. We’ll see each other again,” Adora replied, trying to convince herself more than anything. They shared one more long, soft, and loving kiss before Catra was finally on her way.
“I love you,” Adora tells her when they part.
“Love you too.”
And then she was gone.

“Get on with it!” She exclaimed.
“I’m trans!” He forced out. Catra’s entire body stilled, her tail freezing midair and mouth hanging slightly open, and her eyes going wide as saucer plates.
