Bookmarker's Notes
Sometimes he had the feeling Yoda was actively trying to exterminate his lineage.
~~~~~~
So he was not only an hostage that would soon be transported on one of the most dangerous planet in the galaxy for a Jedi to be on, he was also incapable of fight or run should things get bad.
~~~~~~
“I’ve waked your children and asked nothing in exchange. Show the same mercy to mine.”
~~~~~~
“I’ve played nice until now and I plan on keeping doing so, but if you dare to even suggest about putting Force suppressing cuffs on my padawan again, you will see what happens when I’m the one who looses control.”
~~~~~~
Obi-Wan flinched and even Jaster tensed, the scream was so out of character it woke his fight or flight instinct. A violent crack resounded in the room but he didn’t understood where it came from. He hoped it wasn’t something too essential to the integrity of the building.
~~~~~~
Yan had no idea who he or his father were, but he had no problem ending a blood line if his padawan was at stake.
Summary
Obi-Wan was hurt. He was bleeding and wouldn't wake up. Little Anakin, only recently freed from slavery, went to the cockpit of the ship to send a distress call. He took a deep breath, then, as steadily as he could, spoke into the transmitter. “We need help, please. I don’t know where we are and we need help. Is anyone there?”
The distress call was answered and it changed everything.
A/N: Dear readers, a couple of people have asked about me putting trigger warnings in my stories. I don’t as I don’t want to spoil the story by telling people what’s going to happen before it happens.
Summary
“Have you gone mad?!”
Sifo-Dyas tipped his head to the side to look fully at Dooku for the first time. His eyes brought to mind the slosh of fuel in an improvised incendiary the moment before it was hurled.
“You wish.”
After failing Sidious’s first test, Count Dooku wakes up badly injured in the Jedi Temple. While his lineage scrambles to make sense of the events on Naboo, he finds himself trapped in a deadly blackmail game with the one person who knows the truth of his fall to the dark side: the friend he tried to murder.
Had he somehow picked his side wrongly?
The Jedi would have their Army of Light, and the prophesied Chosen One to lead it.
By the pitiless stars. He should have wed Sifo-Dyas back on Serenno instead of ordering his death.
Summary
This was what time-travel is: staring at the dark sockets of skulls everywhere your gaze lands on. Being haunted by ghosts long gone. The apprehension of the slow yet sure approach of the inevitable which is sending chills down your spine.
And this was why Obi-Wan Kenobi ran away from his quarters—the dimwit face of Qui-Gon Jinn was something he couldn't stand.
-
“I am no general.” Obi-Wan said.“Yes, you are a scrawny boy who drew a saber on his grandmaster right now.”
“All right,” exhaled Qui-Gon, “if it is about Melida/Daan—”
“It is not about Melida/Daan, please, dear master mine, shut up.”
or
Yoda tries to comfort Padawan Kenobi about Melida/Daan, he just doesn't know that Obi-Wan takes his words for, uh, a particular Clone War. Nor does he know he is actually 57.[Now 3 more unexpected chapters including: undercover school trip to the Senate building with Obi-Wan & Dooku, meddling with galactic politics in grand scales aimlessly, stealing from libraries & other public buildings, haunting feudal planet rulers, Mace Windu being the wholesome person he is, playing dejarik, and duelling miserably, because time-travel has effects. Not necessarily in that order.]
Enter one Jedi Master Yan Dooku, the lynchpin to so many of the galaxy's darkest turns in the future-that-was. Torn between a Master who doesn't seem to want him and a man wearing the face of the Sith who had once tortured him, Obi-Wan makes a choice.
Bookmarker's Notes
(Of course the future seemed Lighter – Yan Dooku, the lynchpin to so many of the Darkest futures, was bonded to the living embodiment of the Light.)
~~~~~~
((Theirs was the first case in recorded history with two Seers in the Temple at the same time. That, already, was enough to spark concern.But two Seers who Saw the same things?
Two Seers bonded to each other?
Together, in an echo chamber of their own making, Sifo-Dyas knew that him and Obi-Wan could either save the galaxy from the futures they have Seen-
-or doom it.))
~~~~~~
They are messages from the Force itself, after all.
~~~~~~
Then, Sifo-Dyas jerked, and his eyes went wide and hazy as his Force-presence clouded over. Concerned, Plo extended his senses until he could feel the Seer in the Force, then gasped at what he found:
Sifo-Dyas had clearly not had the time to rebuild his mental protections to their usual strength, and so the vision tore through his flimsy shields in a way that reminded Plo unerringly of Dorin’s storms.
But while Dorin’s people had always had the Sages to help them through the storms, Sifo-Dyas was alone.
Then, just as quickly as it had coalesced, the storm passed, and Sifo-Dyas started laughing.
“There are far worse things than Yan’s displeasure for the Council to worry about.” He announced as he blinked the haze from his gaze and returned to the present, a grin pulling at his lips even as fine tremors continued to wreck his hunched frame.
Between the blood-tinged teeth, the mismatched pupils, and the slow drip of blood from the Seer’s nose, Plo found that he could not fault Kit for his flicker of alarm-distress-fear, though he made a mental note to raise the issue of better shielding with the Nautolan at some point.
