A Stabilizer is an additive or an environmental condition that prevents the degradation of an Element or a compound. Nitroglycerin is known to be extremely volatile - with only two known ways of creating some kind of steadiness in the Explosive Chemical.
Bakugo has only known instability in his life. From the deadly chemical that seeps from the pores on his hands, to his home life. If the universe hadn't had it out for Bakugo, he would have been born a Mundane. Instead he was born as a Guide. One half of a Sentinel/Guide Bonding - the half that is suppose to be stable and emotionally giving. To help Sentinels use all their senses safely. Too bad the universe didn't care enough to give Bakugo the skills to be that.
The Universe had it out for him or maybe, just maybe, it was preparing him for something more...

His son is born in the quiet sterile environment of the hero wing in a large Tokyo hospital. The bundle of infant is shoved into his arms. He holds the fragile child in large hard palms. His little face is screwed up as he wails, tiny red fists shaking in the air. He sits unsure, making aborted hushing noises at his baby, watching with a sinking feeling as doctors and nurses run in and out of the room that holds the child's mother.
“You’re Eijirou.” He says quietly to the baby that still shrieks loudly. “And I love you.” there’s a knot in his throat. The baby blinks at him, still damp from birth, his breaths still new. His eyes are large, bright and alive and a beautiful crimson.

Eijirou Kirishima was a non-presenting person in a world full of strong alphas, omegas and betas. Which was fine by him. He didn't have to deal with pheromones or suppressants or mating. He could roll out of bed in the morning and not worry about covering himself in scent blockers before he left the house or having to track a heat or rut.
He only occasionally cared that he didn't have a second gender. Like when he found his gaze on his best friend and wondered what he smelled like outside of the warmth of his cinnamon soap and manly deodorant. Like right now. This morning Katsuki was making himself a valerian root tea to jumpstart his meds so he didn't lose it and knock Kaminari’s head off for looking at him funny while he was still a little wired from his rut. He was shirtless, with pale blue scent suppressant patches stuck to each of his wrists and either side underneath his jaw.
Bakugou turned as he sniffed the air, pupils flicking to slits for a moment, before he stalked across the kitchen and shoved his face straight into the crook of Eijirou’s shoulder, immediately rubbing his cheek over his neck and one side of his face.

Because there, stalking quietly through the dark hallways of UA class 1-A dormitories, is a figure that seems to be more like a shadow with a black cloak covering their form.
Eijirou freezes on the spot and gathers his remaining self-control to resist the urge to shout, his eyes are gluing at the unrecognizable person making their way to…
