Febuwhump 2025: Day 1- Alternate Prompt 8: On the Run
Pearl has worked for the Hermitville Heroes for years and years, dedicating her life to stopping the villains that threaten civilians and the city as a whole. But after speaking out against the government one too many times, Pearl gets a panicked warning from her Captain that the government has ordered her killed, leading to a desperate race to a nearby city.
I have a beta reader now, thank you to my roommate, so this is an edited version that fixes a couple of things we decided could be improved.
