Honami giggled at their antics before entangling her fingers with Ichika’s, lightly tugging her after their friends. That was normal. Friends held hands all the time. Ichika had held their hands so often she could tell them apart just by the feeling of their hands, of their calluses and the size of their fingers, the warmth they radiated, and still she found herself immensely flustered. It was very normal.
This day was definitely not going to be easy on her.

And then, she watched the flower beginning the cycle anew from the cradle. Mio watched that clock rewind back to the start, the sandglass steal back those seconds, her own body slipping back to the beginning, time after time.
