Summary
There are two kingdoms, The Dark Lands and the Lux Kingdom, both separated by a magical cursed barrier. The ruler of the Dark Lands is a demented man who kills his people for fun and has hexed anyone born there. Around the age of 18, the people of his land grow strange animal like attributes, turning them into monsters. Virgil has just turned 19 and nothing has made an appearance on his body, he decides it's his chance to escape! He becomes a runaway, dead-set on making it to the Lux Kingdom to find a witch to break the dark lands curse so he can save the one man who raised him, Janus. But once he's on the other side he finds he isn't free from the curse like he once thought. Along the way he meets a Healer named Patton, a hot headed Prince Roman, and his Royal Advisor Logan. Will Virgil be able to break the curse and save Janus before the Duke grows bored and decides he no longer needs him?

As the light began to fade and turn into a solid figure, Conan only grew more confused. This was… a female figure. Long red legs, moving up to a cinched waist. Conan’s face grew as red as the skin being shown to him as his eyes were met with large breasts and broad shoulders, above that was sharply cut black hair and a smile with teeth that would haunt his nightmares. Golden snake like eyes met his and a devilish grin made his heart race with anxiety. The woman reached up to stretch. “Fuuuck, does it feel good to be out of that damned hell hole.” Her voice was loud and boisterous. Her stare sharpened and her grin vanished. “Now, the fuck do you want?” She snapped.

Summary
Bakugou Katsuki is six the first time he hears his mom say it.
“He’ll never be a good father. Or a good husband. Throw out being a good human being.”
It was supposed to be said quietly, to his father, as he walked away towards his room. The school had called again, ratting him out for “bullying.” Whatever. He didn’t care.
“Dear, he’s only six years old,” Masaru replied, a sigh in his voice. Bakugou had stopped walking to listen to their conversation. “Give him some time.”
Katsuki heard his mom “hmph” before turning back to the dishes. When he realized they were done, he continued his silent walk to his room.
And he couldn’t understand why, as he curled up in the sheets to sleep, why his heart hurt.

That was a hard learned lesson at the age of seven. One second Mitsuki was singing, cooing him as his cries died, swaying them side to side, and the next she was tearing herself away from Katsuki, cradling a burn on her arms against her chest while hissing for his father to come in. Katsuki, who had all but been thrown to his bed, watched as his mom put as much distance between them as possible.

Summary
At 4 years old, Katsuki’s quirk manifests. Little white sparks fly from his fingertips, warm and sharp and fuzzy.
It is this moment that solidifies the image of Bakugou Katsuki. A clay molded and scored by clumsy and unthinking fingers. Their fingerprints say “Amazing” and "Powerful” and “Awesome”. They don't view the dents they leave as mistakes, barely even notice the cracks he forms as he's heated up too quickly.
To little Katsuki, it all means the same thing. That he is meant for something great.

When a villain / hero hostage training simulation gets botched, Bakugou finds himself in a precarious position with Kirishima as he's forced into something he both hates and enviously craves - prolonged physical contact with another human being.
It's a good thing Kirishima's there to rescue him in more ways than one.
