A sad yet heartwarming story. Told mostly from Derek's pov. Stiles accepts a emissary position without talking it fully out with his boyfriend Derek. Derek knows more about the consequences than either Stiles or Scott. Derek HAS to leave. Both Stiles and Scott find out the hard way that making uninformed decisions in the supernatural world is deadly. Derek moves to Montana and breaks all communication with Beacon Hills except for the sheriff.
