On the other side was a precipitous drop into — nothing. For a moment Legundo wondered if he'd actually fallen, and was looking at the sky instead; but he was upright, and yet the sky was below them. He stamped a booted foot, hard, on the wooden planks under his feet, and his stomach dropped at the hollow sound.
"Where — " he began in a shaky voice. "Mig, where is the ground?"

Instead, he finds himself in a world where islands hang in the sky, and strangers wearing the faces of his dead friends treat him like someone they know. Finding his footing is a difficult task, and figuring out how to reverse what's been done even more so, and there's something wrong with the man who claims to be his partner...

“What?” Legundo asked, startled and not understanding. “Ren? Or, I thought Sausage was building inside of the town—“
“No, someone we don’t know,” Avid said, and now Legundo could see the genuine worry in Avid’s eyes. “Pearl and Pyro ran into him when they were on their way to town— over by the tower, in the middle of the lake,” and already that seemed so long ago, although it was only the day before. “He was cutting down the tree, and uh. I don’t know, isn’t that weird?” Avid asked, his voice pitching up plaintively on the end under Legundo’s silent regard.
(Another way to say: Louis survives the pyre. Barely.)

Summary
Owen cradles Legs’ face in one hand, careful to avoid the worst of the burns. Burns that are healing, if slowly. So very slowly. Legs winces, hisses lowly, and blinks sluggishly up at this young Owen that looks at him with devotion and fear and deep pain.
“You need blood to heal,” Owen says, “I have plenty, Louis. Take it all. Please. I- I need you to be alright. I need you.”
Louis.
Legs closes his eyes, and realizes the last and most important thing. Who he is.

Or, in which Legs dies and wakes up in Louis’ body right after he was killed on the pyre. Owen, seeing this, mistakenly thinks Louis survived the pyre.
Legs just thinks he’s in hell.

Summary
Pre cannon au ispired by the scene in the train murder mystery video where Legundo is trapped between Louis and Owen...
Legundo is drunk as hell and deserting his position, haunted by the horrors he's committed. Louis and Owen are seemingly just as eager to jump onto a random moving train but while Louis is kind enough to let Legundo stay within their facade, Owen is not. Oh boy I hope there are no murderers on this train.
